My dreams finally came true, and I was able to visit this iconic nightclub!! I couldn't believe how many other tourists were there for the same reason as me- to see Princes Gold Star! It was a Whole Vibe!!
1st avenue is always a blast Best place to go for a concert always friendly staff great drinks and a hell of a good time. If you ever get a chance to see atmosphere at first avenue do it.
Great place to go see live music. Saw Glorious Sons there last night and it was an excellent show. Doesn't matter if you stand on the main floor, behind the soundboard, rails or 2nd floor you get a great view and sound. Live music. Do it.
Classic music venue, well run and hosting a wide variety of bands and musicians. If the show is sold out go very early and find a good spot to stand on a rail separating the floor from the rest of the venue. It will be easier to enjoy the music from there.
Iconic concert venue doesn't disappoint. New sound system is outstanding. Clear vocals and perfect sounds.
The concert for Coco Jones was so lit!!!! The ladies that were with her were off the chain as well. In my photos I have new and upcoming badass Ebony Riley from Detroit and Coco Jones in the gold on stage performing. The show was amazing and Ebony Riley did her thang for this to be her first time on tour. Entry was free but the ticket to the concert was $40 well worth it.
Took my son there for a JVKE concert. Had a good time! Parking was easy to access, no live to get into the door. Staff were super friendly, helpful, and considerate!
They checked my ID and turned away some teenagers. They may have had a metal detector. Very quick entry with almost no wait. Layout is nearly identical to the Epic Center in Green Bay, although clearly older, so must've been the inspiration.
Cool venue, but we found a piece of the lighting truss on the floor. Not sure if it needs updates or if it was a fluke.
Super fun all ages show on a Sunday night. Could've parked much closer than I did, but it worked out well. Arrived just before show started, no line to get in. Stayed in the back and got out easily.
This was my first show at First Ave since using a wheelchair. I'd been to many shows there prior to that. It was equally enjoyable! The area for medical seating was excellent, with a straight sight line to the stage. You'll see everthing. They have a accessible bathroom on the main floor. Pretty good! They are very easy to contact for any assistance and quick to respond to emails.
