Twins grill is the savior of any layover in MSP. I've been here many times, and it's consistently some of the best food I've found in any airport.
Staff really puts the Twins Grill above and beyond your typical airport experience. Shout out to Chad, Debbie and Wendy for their outstanding service and making long layovers just a little easier.
For food, try the hot Italian grinder or the raspberry salad with grilled chicken! I've heard good things about the Cuban as well. Good selection of craft beer and mixed drinks with rotating seasonal options.
This is located near the "C" gates in the Minneapolis airport. I have only ever eaten breakfast here but I have not had a bad meal. My most recent was the chorizo hash with two eggs over the top and a side of bacon. The food was fast, fresh and delicious especially considering that this is in an airport. Worth the stop for breakfast.
We enjoyed eating at the Twins Grill. It was nice to chill out after a long flight in a cool atmosphere. It was very clean, the staff very nice and food was delicious!
Fly out of MSP about every week. Never tried this place until recently as it looked like your average airport sports bar. By far the best food at MSP, very unassuming. Also, the food is FRESH, the greens are green ect. Staff is very experienced and on top of things. Don’t pass this one up like I did.
A solid breakfast
For a reasonable price ($12 excl tax & tip)
With a friendly waitress
In a comfortable booth
Two eggs over medium
Three sausage links
Potatoes which were fluffy in the middle and crisped on the outside (A+)
Toast w/ butter
Food was delicious. I had a well made omelette and crispy breakfast potatoes! Food was also quite quick which is ideal for an airport restaurant lol.
The chili cheese burger was very tasty, as was the fries. My server was attentive but not pushy. The grill adds a 4.5% "hospitality charge" before the tip. Why not just incorporate that 4.5% into the price of the food. This way servers won't get stiffed when customers see they're paying that fee and then has to tip.
In the middle of an airport you would not expect this kind of five star service. Wendy the bartender and server was beyond excellent. The food, drinks and everything about the place was perfect. Well done! If I lived in the area I'd be there all the time.
Well I was in Minnesota Mall of America for several days, Thursday I found this Gem. I had the Iron chicken and Fried Calamari, both amazing. The Calamari was chewy and was perfectly fried and the Iron Chicken, smothered in gravy that had okra give me home vibes. I can't speak for the other dishes but this is a good start.
Had a 2-hour layover at the airport and chose Twins Grill for some drinks and a snack to waste some time. I had the breakfast quesadilla, it had bacon, sausage, eggs, cheese, sour cream on top, and salsa on the side. Very tasty. My boyfriend had the "Ultimate Bloody Mary," the menu description stated it would have a beef stick, cheese cubes, pickles, couple of other things and that it was a meal in a drink. The items that were on top of the drink were one of each and 1 inch in length each. He was disappointed and he knows his bloody Mary's. We are from the Iron Range, usually nobody compares.
