Nice place! I love how the patio was enclosed! My pet loved it! The wings were delicious! The jerk rub was ok. Boom boom shrimp and the spicy garlic was good! Highly recommend this place for a bar sports and food vibe! My server was very helpful!
We wandered into Steny's Tavern last night and I was going to get my usual wings but, last minute, decided to try the pan seared cod dinner with seasonal veggies. What I expected was a chunk of buttery, what we used to call poor man’s lobster and some wedges of cooked summer squash, zucchini and carrots. What I did not expect was this beauty. Perfectly cooked brussel sprout, flaky moist cod and a delicate and flavorful brown butter, wine and lemon sauce. The coleslaw was light and dilly. It may have been the best meal I’ve ever had at a bar and better than most fish dishes I’ve paid 3x as much for. I see you Steny’s.

Visited on a Friday for fish. Got there around 5pm and it was already quite busy but no worries, they have a large amount of seating at tables, booths, high tops, and of course the bar. Kind of loud and bustling just as it should be on fish fry Friday. The service was fast and friendly. The fish was very good. Traditional cod and pan seared cod. The cod fry came with 4 large pieces and the pan seared was in a butter sauce with broccolini, fantastic and something different. The prices I thought were quite reasonable for the generous portions.
Slow service getting drinks and I'm pretty sure I was given a virgin Mary rather than a bloody Mary that aside the burger was amazing atmosphere was great and the best loaded tots I've ever had!
1st time visit and you did not disappoint!
The food was delicious and your portions were very generous. Charlotte was a great waitress and kept the Old Fashioneds coming.
I’ve frequented Steny’s many, many times living in Milwaukee. The food is ALWAYS fantastic, and there’s always a great crowd of people. This is definitely one of my top choices for bars during the beautiful Wisconsin summer.
Went Friday night during a Bucks game so it was super lively, around 9pm. Got a drink at the bar and was seated in maybe 10 minutes.
The Crab Rangoon dip was incredible!! Oh my gosh!! Better than any crab rangoon ive had.
Fries were way too salty so that big pile was a waste.
We had BBQ and Hot & Honey wings. They were tasty. Not the best ive had but decent.
J had some house drink that was watered down and my man said his tanqueray and lemonade was watered down also.
Decent spot, spacious inside, gotta search for a park on weekends on the street due to the area been packed with bars and nightlife.
Went there to try their wings for the first time, and they were fantastic! I ordered them extra crispy, and spicy garlic was very tasty along with their other sauces. I also ordered the loaded tater tots too and with all the added cheese and bacon and other ingredients, they were delicious! I plan on getting my wings there again, and I plan on trying their pizza too!
This a great sports bar feel. High energy with plenty of TV's. The menu is diverse with everything from pizza to several different handheld categories. I had the Greek sandwich with tazeki sauce which speaks to their creative menu. Ceaser salad was good and wings are always a hit. Great packer bar with good food.
