We went there after a hike at mission peak. We were very hungry. We ordered a vegetarian omelet and a Shasta vegetarian scramble. Portions are very good. They come with sides and choice of toast. The server said we could replace the toast with one pancake. I felt the replacement of toast with pancakes was an awesome deal. The country red potatoes on the side weren't that good. We were so hungry after a four hour hike we just gobbled everything.
This restaurant has very interesting decor. There are bears everywhere both inside and outside. They made our meal much more enjoyable. And the menus are printed like an old time newspaper. The food was OK.
Awesome woodsy cabin diner vibes. Great prices for all types of different comfort food. Also the staff is always friendly.
Probably the best diner chain in NorCal. Great brunch spot (breakfast served all day) with good selection of tasty meals and generous portions. They also have their own brand of ketchup and hot sauces, and newspaper themed menus. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Amazing how it's improved Back to how it Was when it 1st came to California
Great service huge menu large portions
Friendly staff
First time having breakfast here, was undecided on where to go for some good eating and this place lived up to my expectations. Ordered a three egg omelette with a side of hash browns and sourdough bread. Everything was delicious and plentiful. Will definitely come back again and try the other things on the menu.
