Good place serving decent Malaysian food. Make sure you reserve your table ahead of time, otherwise you will end up waiting for at least an hour to get a table. We went here to try out their food but the place was extremely packed so had to wait for about an hour to get the table. The food was good and the service was really quick. The veggie Indian mee goreng was the best, I recommend you try it. Roti telur was okayish and fresh hand rolls were good. Their pineapple fried rice is just amazing, don’t miss out on trying that out. Panna cotta was okay, it could have been made with less gelatin. Overall, a good place.
This restaurant looks so busy and very popular in town. Overall atmosphere was great and all the staffs were so kind and extremely welcoming. Foods came pretty quickly eventhough it was very crowded and busy. I ordered Rendang chicken and Seafood Curry Laksa and taste was good! Surprisingly they provided a scoop of ice cream as a dessert for free.
I would visit this place again and highly recommend you all visit.
Taste wise: vegetarian options are good. Vegetarians should definitely try roti porota and pineapple fried rice. Spring rolls sauce was great!
Price wise: they are expensive; given the quantity they serve is less.
Very polite and supportive staff. All of them greet very nicely!
Some utensils required replacement because they were not cleaned properly.
Banana Leaf is a delectable Malaysian spot that has terrific service and a nice ambience to eat all your favorite Malaysian dishes. As pictured we ordered roti/paratha, veggie laksa mee, veggie Indian mee goreng, and pandan leaf panna cotta for dessert. Everything was filling, delicious, flavorful, and not too spicy. It was a bit pricey but considering the service and ambience it was worth it. Not too busy on a Friday night and plenty of seating inside.
Great Thai restaurant. They have many vegetarian options and a separate vegetarian menu. We ordered the famous “roti prata” which was pretty good with the sauce. The prata is a bit on the sweeter side but pairs well with the curry sauce. We also tried veg spring rolls which tasted bland and not so good. Pineapple fired rice was good and the green thai curry was okay as well. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The guy who served us was helpful and quick in service.
Delicious food! The service was very friendly and efficient. Their roti appetizers are great. My Vegetarian curry laksa was better than my husband’s chicken laksa. Their black sticky rice with mango was to DIE FOR. Can’t wait to be back!
