Food was pretty good overall. We enjoyed the seafood dip. The fried oysters that came with the Pontchatrain Benedict were salty and the grits were bland. Service was good.
They are SLOW. Service could be better but overall it’s a good spot to eat and chill.
There was a short line but didn’t take no more then 2 minutes to seat us. Drinks took a minute to come out but it was good. Got the hurricane and a water. It wasn’t even busy but they was so slow. The food was pretty good. Love the fish, fries, wings and spinach dip. Everything came out at the same time.
I recently visited this spot for lunch while downtown with a friend and it was very interesting. The young lady who sat us as we entered was kind of dull, lacking excitement to me. We both ordered the Catfish Basket and I added a bowl of Gumbo. The fish was crispy a little spicy but good and hot. The gumbo was okay, kind of expected a better taste but overall good. The bill came with a gratuity already added at 15%. If they are automatically adding gratuity it should be posted as you enter. Overall, not bad, just not my style.
It's one of the best spots in midtown to get great food. It may not look it but you are going to get good N'orlean food. The crawfish etouffee is one of the best things on their menu.
1st time here,and it definitely won't be the last. Let me just shake my head and say,OMG THE WINGS ARE AMAZING they are ONE OF A KIND IM IN LOVE 😍!Lisa was funny,warm and kind.The food here made me do a double take,which doesn't happen often. So very glad we came.The biscuits and gravy w/chicken blew my mind.We must come back!!!and one last time,let me say OMG THE WINGS----!!!!Thank you.

But we came across the best server here her name is Patty! My Mr enjoyed his Chicken Philly. I had the pleasure of trying the CrabCakes Remoulade dinner with Dirty Rice & GreenBeans, we both tried the Signature LongIsland Iced Tea(drinkFastnotSlow😂🤞🏽)

I wasn't impressed. The bacon wrapped shrimp was lacking flavor and was hard. The seafood dip was oily. The gumbo was too spicy. The zydeco wings were alright. Over $100 spent, and most of the food was left on the table.

The food was great and the staff were as well. I wish I would have known about the forced gratuity ahead of time. (Party of 2) I don’t mind it, I just prefer notice. Very much a bar vibe, but food and staff were great.

Such a chill & laid back spot! Great service & great food. When we got there the kitchen was backed up so they weren’t serving entrees but the waitress came back less then 10 min later & said we could order whatever we wanted! Great! So let’s start with the Alligator nachos! The serving size was great & the flavor was amazing! Definitely will be ordering that on my next visit! The Zydeco wings were some of the best I’ve had in a while! I was impressed! My husband the salmon with spinach & rice! That salmon was so fresh! I had the Cajun catfish with green beans & sweet potatoes! When I say that entire plate was bursting with flavor! OMG! I believe my daughter had the blackened chicken & shrimp pasta & although it was spicy it was damn good! Another item I might get myself on the next visit! Hats off to the cook & hats off to the waitress! Oh & let’s not forget the bartender because our drinks were top tier! We will definitely be returning!
