Absolutely incredible food and experience. You can tell they make everything with love and passion. The catfish was absolutely amazing as was the mac and cheese. I don't think you can really go wrong with anything on the menu here. Hands down the best soul food in all of Madison.
Small restaurant offering excellent soul food. The gentleman near me told the owner that they had the best fried catfish he has ever had outside of Alabama.

Amazing catfish, fresh and cooked to order. The sides were good too. Location is a little tough to find but there is parking behind the building.

The fried catfish and Mac and cheese are particularly delicious here! The take out service was fast and packaged well for the drive home. They are still open and going strong, so if Google says they are closed try giving them a call to double check. The owner, Kenny, said that Google had them shown as closed incorrectly a couple of times, so don't miss out on this delicious food because of Google's mistake!
Great food, cozy atmosphere, and low prices. The fried chicken was really good, but the catfish was amazing. I don't normally eat catfish, but this was hands down some of the best catfish I've ever had. Being from the south, I know good catfish, and this was it. Have plenty of variety for sides: mac n cheese, greens, yams, spaghetti, mashed potatoes, cornbread, and cornbread dressing. I think I'm forgetting some. Overall, I reccomend this place to any and everybody who likes good food.
Love this place! Best fried fish in the Midwest! I have struggled to find good fried fish, until now. The ladies who run this place are friendly and kind. They do a great job with the food and are amazing at customer service. The seasoning and spices are perfect and the food quality is high. We also enjoyed the maccaroni and cheese and peach cobbler. Everything was fantastic and we will be back!
