Love this place. It in my opinion it is tied for best Vietnam Cuisine in the area, and they have something called Banh Xiao??? Spelling? It's amazing and difficult to make.
B8, P1, AND Banh Xiao FTW.
Had the pork spring rolls, they were very good. And the curry seafood, while not as spicy as I would like, it was also very good. Friendly service and nice quiet atmosphere.
Elegant, clean, courteous, and quick.
Some of the best Chicken Pho I have ever had. They have such a variety on the menu that I want to come back for a BUN and BROKEN RICE!!!
Easily the best pho in town. Any of the meat options are delicious, but personally any with the fat brisket is the way to go. As for starters, the spring rolls are solid, and on the drinks front, they have rather good Vietnamese coffee.
If you can get past the cigarette smell that permeates the place from next door, eat in. The staff is nice and very attentive. If you can't stand the smell, order something to go or call in an order (which it appears is what most people do, since hardly anyone seems to eat in). If you eat in, you get fruit and fortune cookie (free) for dessert.
Pho with Steak. Pho and it was wonderful!
Closed on Wednesday. Whyyyyyyyyyy?
Better Tofu Spring Rolls than.... I can't believe I'm saying this because I seriously am IN LOVE with Viet Huong, but Pho #89's tofu spring rolls were even BETTER that VH's! I Couldn't believe it...I'll be going back to get some more soon. (Also, they sell sweet tea, another plus compared to VH!)
Awesome. We went in early on a Friday evening. I had the Pho with steak (P11 or 12) and some Thai tea. I couldn't stop eating it. It was served hot and came out in a timely matter. We also had the (clear wrapper) spring rolls and mixed seafood clay pot. All fresh and very flavorful. The cigar smoke didn't bother me as I sometimes smoke cigars. In review, VERY GOOD Pho. If you haven't been, go.
Went for the first time today. Loved it! Had P15 and some spring rolls. Best spring rolls I've ever had. I was soo happy to see a Pho restaurant in Huntsville. I'll be returning again and again.
One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in town. You have to try the spicy fried chicken wings. They are awesome!
Food was great and the service too. It's the first time i go to a Vietnamese restaurant and order something else than pho. Pho is so an iconic awesome soup that I've never tried other Vietnamese dishes. The waitress recommended trying something else and it was delicious. Didn't take too long and prices don't seemed out of place either. Overall, great experience.
So good well be back before this trip is over! Loved their food and staff. It's a great family owned restaurant!
Fantastic pho, made fresh for each order. Wait is sometimes longer, but worth it for the quality! My daughter enjoyed the fried rice, I also had the Thai Tea. We will be back!
Me and my wife went there for lunch. First time there. Service was good. The food was super delicious. I got the shrimp with vegetable clay pot. She got the special combo vermicelli noodle. Great portion size. Will definitely be returning.
The service was pretty fantastic, and this place serves some awesome phở and nồi đất. My daughter loves the BBQ pork, and she has good taste.
Despite the negative reviews, I made the decision to give it a try for lunch. If you are in a hurry, I would not recommend eating here; just as the signs, and other reviews say, this is not a fast-food restaurant.
The owner was present, and was a pleasure to talk with. She makes all of her soups and meats fresh, and without pre-made powders.
Pho #89 has the feel of a home kitchen where you get served large portions. If you leave hungry, you did it by choice!
I give it five stars~✨
