Neither I nor my partner really have much of a sweet tooth, but we still love making the Sweet Spot Candy Shoppe a regular stop on our Bardstown Road strolls all the same. There's always something unique to try! We've found "vintage" candies as well as Harry Potter treats that we can't get elsewhere, and the flavours of cotton candy are just wild. Most of all, we like the locally made truffles, chocolates, cordials, etc. in the display case. This is the place to go for sweets & treats in the Highlands.
One of the best spots to go to for a sweet street. I would highly recommend the peppermint patty and chocolate covered s’mores. They also had very nice bourbon fudge which was very tasty.
This candy shop is a delight! I enjoy their chocolates as well as their many nostalgic candies. The service was friendly, welcoming, and fast. Be prepared to make difficult decisions between many scrumptious offerings. The location is also in the heart of the neighborhood and surrounded by a variety of other small businesses.
First time visiting will be back. Very awesome little candy store. Had some things I haven't seen and some things I haven't seen in a long time. Very cool atmosphere

I recently visited Louisville to see a friend, who had caramel covered marshmallows from this shop. They were so good, I asked her to take me to get some for myself. This is the BEST candy store I have ever been in. The birthday cake fudge is hands down the best I’ve ever eaten. I ended up buying a backpack full of treats to bring home. Everything I tried was amazing. They have ever kind of Candy you can imagine, some I haven’t seen since I was a child. If you are lucky enough to live nearby, you must go visit. I’m hoping to find that they ship, so I can always have those marshmallows on hand! Highly recommend!
My daughter was in heaven here today. There is so much to choose from so it’s really easy to get carried away like we did! The shop is very clean and very well organized. The guy working was friendly but not overbearing. It’s a tiny bit expensive but pretty on par for a small business type candy shop. The only complaint I had was I wish they provided some sort of basket to carry around while you’re shopping, it’s hard to carry everything and still shop and scoop/bag items, etc. We will definitely be back! ♥️
Amazing selection! I didn't even know some of this stuff existed. Bourbon barrel aged chocolates and dark chocolate coffee beans were on the top of my list. They also had a HUGE selection of your classics, every Jelly Belly I have ever seen, and some fun gift idea. Had to get a pickle lollipop and Bob Ross mints for a family member. Again, AMAZING selection and friendly staff!

The best candy shop that I have ever been to in my life. They have hundreds and hundreds of selections of candy. You can definitely not go wrong here to fill your candy craving. When you walk in you get a strong warm smell of sweet candy and aroma of very sweet helpful and caring employees. I will definitely be going back. Definitely not expensive. Worth every penny I spent in there. Yummy yummy yummy in my tummy. Please visit this candy shop if your in the area or just visiting Louisville KY or a local and never been there before. It's a must try for sure. And trust me you won't be disappointed. My favorite is the wide selection of different flavor cotton candies. The bubblegum cotton candy is truly a favorite.
