November 2023: Very fast service! Super clean, huge portions, and staff are super friendly.
Beautiful place for some Mexican food. The waitress Jessica was terrific with explaining the menu and making sure I had everything I needed. The "sopa de mariscos" was so delicious I took my time so I could enjoy every flavor it had to offer.
I would recommend this place to anyone. Even the fijita looked great.

It's a great location on the east side. I got the vegetarian burrito filled with mashed potatoes. It was really good. My family is not from here, and they thought it was the best Mexican food they have ever had. Very colorful Mexican themed restaurant.
I give 5 stars. They were friendly and took good care of us. I just want to add, however, that the burrito I ordered had rice in it although on the menu it did not list rice under the description. I am not supposed to be eating rice, though it won't kill me. However there are those who have dangerous food allergies and if something is not listed in the description, it should not be there. Had I known there would be rice in the burrito, I would have asked for one without the rice
My carry out order was wrong initially, and the nice manager replaced my order no problem
I have been to other El Nopal locations and I did not realize how much better the food can be until I had some here. The food was very well made and was quite a bit better than other locations I have been to. I overheard that they may be closing sometime in a few months when their lease ends and I would really like to go back a few times before that happens.
The specialty tacos were great!
