Our absolute favorite local Chinese food and sushi spot! Some of their sushi rolls are complete meals! We’re big fans of the rice pots. This most recent time there we had a lovely server who recommended items to us and helped one in our group identify the meal she wanted when we couldn’t find it on the menu. Can’t wait to come back.
We ordered the smoked duck and it was way better than expected. The food is 5 stars but we did have to ask for the table to be cleaned up a little.
I am so excited to finally go here! It is kinda out of the way but absolutely worth the trek. Make sure you ask for the authentic menu. If you are pasty white (heeyyy) they will automatically dumb down the spicy for you so you need to ask for it authentic. Really wonderful dishes that have so much flavor it can be beautifully overwhelming.
We had Kung Pao chicken and Sesame chicken. They were both quite good. The egg roll was good, but the filling was a bit coarse. We like the Hot and Sour soup but have had better. And the servings were plentiful.
They have a separate entrance to walk through for their sushi bar, which is pretty neat. Went in at a weird time of day and therefore was served as the only people in their sushi section so service was quick! They have an expansive menu selection, which is great. They also have a pick 2 option for $10 where you basically get two rolls for $10 from a preselected menu! Really good quality and price. Even the specialty rolls were a good price! I will be back to try the more fancy rolls for sure. The only downside was that they were out of ginger dressing so we couldn’t order our house salads :( we would live and die by that dressing!!! Otherwise, very good spot.
Great, fresh food. We liked the tiger skin peppers, bao buns, and twice cooked pork.
The sushi and sashimi are first grade! It's a brand new restaurant. The environment is really nice!
They are short staffed still, but their servers seem to work hard and are always running around. They could benefit from having assigned tables instead of everyone doing everything, especially with to-go orders. Best Chinese food in the area…hands down!
Highly recommend this place. They have friendly service and some great authentic options. Be sure to ask for their "Szechuan" menu!
Best Chinese food in Louisville. The beef brisket noodle soup is amazing!
