Good food great prices. Great location. Nice alternative to greasy fried foods. Highly recommend and look forward to ordering this place many more times.
My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place. As broke college students, it is a WONDERFUL option. The servings are very generous and it doesn't make a huge dent in our pockets. Plus, they have the best egg drop soup I've ever had!
The service was fast. We had steamed chicken dumplings, red curry and hot n sour veg soup. The food was delicious and full of flavours. Loved the chicken dumplings. Value for money.
Very good food with great portion sizes. The prices are also very reasonable for the amount of food you get. I highly recommend the Garlic Chicken. I also love their Hot and Sour Soup. Overall, this place is a great Asian option in the Highlands.
Great food. Very friendly staff and timely service. Red curry is specially very good. Also it's one of the most cost effective places in town.
An easy favorite!~. We visit La Que on a regular basis. I adore the noodle entrees and my companions have a wide variety to choose from.
Have never beed disappointed with the food.
Last visit was a Bun Xa Ot with beef and Pineapple Fried rice with chicken. Give mine an 8 his a 5 (but he was happy).
Would love it IF the place were snazzed up a bit. It looks the exact but a bit more tired every time we visit.
Could see this becoming more of a destination instead of a quick dinner place.
Have also tried Lemongrass, and Saigon Cafe. At one point I believe these were connected.
Overall I am happy to eat here.......
Decided to try this place out, and much to satisfaction, I am glad I did. Not only was the server helpful and friendly, but the speed of service was fantastic. The food here is great and at an awesome low price.
I enjoyed a tasty vegetarian Vietnamese dinner with ample portions, summer rolls and a bowl of pho. The modest decor was mirrored in the pricing. I'll be back.
Great spicy options!. I'm a big fan of spices and so I've recently come to love La Que. I've been five or six times and I've always had wonderful food. I did have crummy service one time, but every other time I've gone has been great, so I'm willing to consider it a fluke. Highly recommend it!
Great food, great price!. Someone else already said it, but I just wanted to back it up. I thought the food here was great, and the price was very affordable. It kind of has the 'hole in the wall' feel to it, so if you are into that then you would love this place. Would be a great place to go for lunch or a casual dinner.
The restaurant has a very big menu with a diverse selection. I had the vegan pho when I went both times. It's not really listed on the menu, but you just have to request it. The pho had a very fresh and delightful taste that wasn't too heavy. One has the option to fry the tofu or to have it steamed. The service was very friendly, I would strongly suggest going here.
The name is French, but the food is Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese. I got the Vietnamese coffee, which is always good and the summer rolls with shrimp. Can't go wrong with those! The combination pho with chicken, beef spices and shrimp was delicious, but I think the broth was lacking a bit salt.
The place is super cute inside and out. The owners were extremely friendly and provided timely service.
I'd definitely come back and try some more dishes on the menu.
A must try if only for the fried tofu! Super delish. Also had a red curry with mock chicken. Good service, food came out fast environment was calm!
They happened to be slammed when I stopped by to order some takeout, but they were still fast and friendly--I was probably only there 15 or so minutes waiting for my order. I got the chicken pad thai and it was wonderfully flavorful. I had gotten the same dish there pre-COVID and at the time was disappointed that the noodles were dry and didn't have a lot of taste. Completely different experience this time. If you've not been in a while, I'd suggest giving them another shot. So happy to have this great little spot nearby.
my first time to stop in although I have driven past many times. The menu gives a lot of options . I don't believe you will be disappointed with any choice you make. I tried the Bun cari xa ot it was loaded chicken, pork and shrimp plus bountiful flavor. My son had the Bun xa ot with tofu his bowl was also overflowing with prime ingredients . I will be back to enjoy the quaint setting and pleasant service street parking is the only negative.
The best crab Rangoon! This was my first visit and won't be my last. Everything was wonderful. From the service we received to the overall ambiance. Everything was wonderful. Can't wait to go back again!
This has become my go to spot for panasian foods. The people are always super friendly. And the food is always right on. And the prices are good. I would say most plates range from 7-12 dollars.
First time to visit La Que, came recommended by a friend. Super friendly folks and very fresh entrées prepared to order. Value for the $ makes this a place we will certainly come back for.
The Com Xa Ot was a crisp refreshing dish with a unique flavor. Looking forward to trying something else new next time.
Terrific pad Thai with shrimp and Pho. Excellent service. Fast.
Best Asian restaurant in Louisville! Dishes made fresh. Crab Rangoon and pot stickers perfect. Hot and sour soup spectacular! Server does phenomenal job juggling carry out orders and dine-in guests at the same time. Highly recommend this small locally owned restaurant.
