The food here is great, probably the best Mexican food in Long Beach, which is saying a lot. I've been coming here for years, tried almost everything, and have never been disappointed. I usually get something with carne asada, which is really well prepared - cooked perfectly with a great chop / texture, and no gristle or other unwanted stuff. The red sauce is also nothing short of amazing, if you like it spicy. No joke, it's that good - it should be patented, bottled, and sold in stores. I will always be back!

Tacos Chapala was a great place to eat after we got off the airplane and wanted a good place in Long Beach with an authentic Mexican taste. We knew we were eating good food when numerous locals kept coming in and then we enjoyed a delicious meal that was reasonably priced. The staff was also really nice and the service was fast. Enjoy Tacos Chapala when your in Long Beach, California!

Very tasty food. Nachos Chapala is a great serving. The breakfast burritos also taste pretty good! And of course the tacos hit the spot!!

Taco Tuesday! $1.50 tacos all day. Had some al pastor and carnitas tacos. Finger licking good.
