This place is one of my first jobs during high school. Even though I now live many miles away, I make sure I eat here at least once when I am visiting. Great food, great owners and best place to get grinders, butter and liver!
Never have had a bad meal here. So many wonderful things. The Chicken Marsala is to die for. Simply must try their Michigan Salad and have a yummy crusty roll with the special butter. Fantastic. We also have now stayed at the lodge. As others have said very clean rooms. All and all a great place
Excellent food so far. Great service. Will be going back. Had the onion petals, Jalapeño burger, seafood pasta, clam chowder w/ homemade rolls, and a half dozen "craft" beers ran us about $75 before the tip. (Around $45 not including the beers)
The best restaurant. Service was excellent. We had 10 people on a busy day. The Chef was amazing! You want beauty and a touch of Michigan "up North" you must go here for the total experience. 5 stars.
Prime rib was decent. Could have had more flavor but great quantity for the price. Zip sauce was not that great. Service, Hollie, was excellent as usual. I recommend it!!
Food was good service just ok. Very busy place. Expect to spend a good 2 hours if there for dinner. That's how long it took for our table of 3. However Food was great.
Love the ambiance and the old school feel. Beautiful views. And let's not forget the delicious pizza. Oh, the perch is good but I am not a fan of dill so it got a little over powering. The beet salad is wonderful! My wife loves the GF pizza to boot.
This was a wonderful place to eat. Service was great also. Very calming views.
Always worth the hour drive there. We visit at least twice a month. Lovely view of the lake. Food has never disappointed. Plenty to eat with moderate prices. The (battered) cod dinner is our favorite !!!
