Food portions were ample, service was excellent, atmosphere was fun and entertaining. The chef's were friendly, entertaining and read their customers wishes well. The drinks were tasty, though perhaps a bit small. The advertised price has to include the food, and the hibachi show so overall I'd say it was a pretty good value. Not your everyday restaurant but if you want an entertaining meal, give it a whirl.
The hibachi is great! Call ahead if a weekend night. It's usually packed. Very fresh food and good show. Place is clean and atmosphere is good.
Great addition to Lewiston!!. Came here to visit a few friends an family in Maine an heard about this new Japanese place called Sea40. The outside could use a little work but when you walk in its like I was back home in New York. Just amazing decor an so much room for the bar an the sushi an habachi grill tables. The prices are reasonable an the food is great. One of my new favorite places in Maine, cant wait to see what they will do to make a name for themselves in Maine an Lewiston area.
Sea 40 is the best thing to happen to Lewiston. The food and the service were excellent, the resturant is beautiful. We took out daughter for her 10th birthday, and as soon as we told the chef it was her birthday he made the whole meal a special treat for her! Excellent. Highly recommend.
Sea 40 is the best thing that happened to the Lewiston area! By far the best restaurant we have. I have been about six times and every single time the food, service and overall experience has been amazing! Thank you for giving us a place to be proud of!
Great Experience. My family and I ate at Sea 40 last week with a few others including a couple down from Canada. We all had an incredible experience and will be back soon. The filet was my favorite.
Will be back!. Tonight was our 1st time at Sea40 and we were very impressed with the whole dining experience. Our food was fresh and cooked to perfection and the atmosphere is wonderful. We sat at the Habachi and our chef was very entertaining! I can't wait to come back and eat some more!
Yummy. I have brought several of my clients to Sea 40. It is a great place with nice atmosphere that will cater to the more serious or even the more fun side of business.

Finally, a Restaurant to get excited for. Dominated by chains and greasy dinners Sea40 is a breath of fresh air in the Lewiston/Auburn dining world. The sushi is always rolled tight and taste fresh while the rest of the menu stacks up, and often outshines, against any Japanese restaurant I've ever been too. The Hibachi artist are always a blast and are very generous with the sake, which is always nice. If you're looking for a more laid back meal the dining area is very comfortable and relaxed. Overall, Sea40 is a very welcome addition to the Lewiston/Auburn dinning scene.
Overall we enjoyed our visit to Sea40. Food was tasty and fresh and our chef was very friendly and funny. Only gripe was that the menu was a bit misleading about the lunch hibachi menu. We ordered the lunch portions and were charged for dinner portions. The server did not adjust this so I hope this was a misunderstanding and not restaurant policy.
Everyone around here know this place is one of the best places to kick back and relax. Great food, great drinks, awesome owner that makes time to chat it up and make you feel part af a family, and great staff. I've honestly never been disappointed!!
Food was good service was better! They were short staffed due to a snow storm I came in with my daughter and they were super busy. Yet the guy sat and chatted with us and was quite funny too. Overall GREAT experience.
In love with the chicken hibachi with fried rice and salad. You guys have the best fried rice ever, along with Kume in Augusta. When I'm in auburn area, I always go to Sea40. When I'm in Augusta,I go to kume.

I always order chicken hibachi dinner. Comes with incredible beef based soup with chives. Salad with cucumbers tomatoes amazing dressing. Vegetables. Rice. And the most perfect chicken, and variety of sauces!!
BTW I LOVE the containers. they are compartmentalized perfectly so there is NEVER any leakage between the different things (chicken, vegetables, rice)
The quality of the food and they cooked it to perfection. The vegetables were undoubtedly the best I've been served in a very long time. Definitely worth stopping in.
Always one of my fav spots. Frankie always goes around and talks to everyone by the end of their meal. Most owners youd be lucky if you see them ONCE.....EVER. Very personal touch. Hes a real, regular dude. Which i appreciate. Phil is an outstanding waiter, highly recommend him. Hes a cool dude and does his job very well.
