I absolutely loved the concept of this restaurant! My fiancé and I love to check out restaurants around town, and this restaurant is my new favorite. Eating in total darkness took a minute to get use to, but was completely relaxing and enjoyable. I loved that there were no distractions during our meal, we were able to really focus on our conversation, and the food was great! The mystery menu was genius. It was so fun (and delicious) trying to figure out what we were eating. The service was outstanding too. Victoria was our server, and she was so helpful and super sweet. I wish the hospitality industry had more people like her in it. The staff added a lot to our experience. I 100% recommend this restaurant, and I will be telling everyone about it. Thank you for a great night.

I’m 44 years of age and this was the best dinning experience of my life. The whole Dark dinning experience was outstanding BUT on top of friendly staff the food was amazing. Every bite was a memorable moment.

Such a unique fun mysterious sensory experience, I do recommend closing your eyes as the tend to get tired searching for something to see, the wait staff is funny, patient and helpful and you definitely try new foods and flavors. We love the sense of mystery, they change their menu every 6 months, we've gone twice now and definitely plan to go again, my only recommendation is to be open to new tastes and to bring a jacket.. also note it's walking distance from the Rio, if you're looking to stay closeby

Awesome experience. Each dish we had was so tasty and it was fun trying to guess what the ingredients were. Our waiter was really fun and did a great job of explaining how to navigate the area. Overall I would come back and I would/already have, recommend this place to family and friends.

Okay. I did not want to do this, but it was a company event. We show up and the place looks kind of shady. After about a 10 minute wait and after signing a waiver they lead you into the dining area. It is pitched black and you get a rush because you can't see. They serve seven courses. The vegan food is all exceptional and the drinks are strong. Well, our group laughed so hard all night while we were there. Our waiter, Joshua, made it so much better and he was funny. Recommend doing with your company.

À little bit out of the way, but well worth the "effort". Once you had signed your life away with the digital liability waiver, you were given some guideline rules before following your "server / guide" into the darkness. Oh and it is pitch black dark. 7 course dinner and a few drinks later and you are finally shown what you have just eaten. Would I do it again, probably not, but should everyone do it once - YES.

What a singular and wonderful experience. While it's a little unnerving to be in such complete darkness, that quickly becomes a non-issue. The waiter helps orient you to your table and out come the drinks and first course. Service is friendly, fast and helpful. The food is delicious. We highly recommend.this unique dinning experience and will be back.

This place is such a cool experience! The look of the building is a little shady when you first walk in, but the whole dining experience is amazing! Our waiter was so friendly and helpful and made us feel super safe despite eating in complete darkness! And the food was delicious. We got the mystery wine pairing to go with the courses which was extra fun. Wish there was one in my home town!

We had an amazing experience! We went to celebrate my 50th birthday and was not disappointed. I honestly didn't expect to like any of the food since I am not vegan. But I was so impressed! 6 of the 7 courses were exceptional. There was only one that we weren't a fan of. Our server was Cheyenne and she made our experience just incredible. Definitely would recommend!

Blackout Dining was a wonderful experience, almost entirely made by our server, Joshua M. He was so on top of things, very funny and very sweet! One of his tables had a guest that was nervous by the complete darkness (which can be scary at first), but he spent extra time to calm them down and eventually convinced them to stay, meanwhile had another server check up on us. Joshua even gave my husband a rose to give to me, which made the night so special with such a simple gesture. Honestly the food isn’t something I would typically order but I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely come back with friends and family. Go for the experience and stay for the excellent service! ◡̈

Definitely, something one must try once. Food: The food is a 7-course (VEGAN) meal and was pretty good. Started off with a soup, followed by 3 appetizers, an ambush bouche (which was the only thing I was not happy about because it was mushy since it is a palette cleanser, it should have been light and fresh), main course, and dessert. They reveal the menu at the end while you check out. It was definitely fun to guess what we were eating. Price: It was $89.99 plus taxes per person. The drink was, on average, $17 extra. We paid around $129 per person for the total experience. Extras: It was a special occasion, so they bought out a rose which was a small but personal touch. Atmosphere: Expect PITCH dark, and your server will guide you every step of the way. In the beginning, you might get a slight anxiety which seems to be shared in other reviews, but keep telling yourself that it's okay. Our server was good. Good enough to know when you need space and was overall very knowledgeable. I could hear the server on the other table cracking "loud" jokes, which was not appealing to us.
