Went to M'Dears to pick up my meal this evening and it was very crowded. My server, Nakiya was so sweet and made sure I was fine as I waited for my food while tending to multiple customers. Her kindness along with the other staff made the wait go by quickly. Absolutely love the service and food.
Love this place! The food is wonderful, the people are warm and thoughtful. It feels very much like home. The prices are great for what you get. I recommend it wholeheartedly!
Friendly staff, delicious food! I especially love their baked goods (sweet potato pie, cornbread muffins, etc). Highly recommend!
Lord have mercy!!! I'm from South Carolina, and this is the BEST place In California to eat!! The pork chops delish!!! String beans excellent!! Service was also wonderful! Let me say..you wait on your food...don't get upset..it is SO worth the wait.. everything was hot and fresh.. I will definitely be back!!

I love this small but mighty breakfast spot. The fried fish, grits and scrambled eggs are to die for.
The food here was excellent. I have the fried pork chop and eggs. They were very well seasoned.The grits were great as well.
One of my absolute favorite places for breakfast! This is where I go when I’m craving grits! The yellow cake with chocolate frosting is AWESOME...so are the coconut cake, and sweet potato pie, and peach cobbler!
Also service is faster at this location than the one on Western ave, and there’s plenty of parking.
Service is always friendly in BOTH locations. Also try the PEACH COBBLER PRESERVES!! I bought I jar to take home. If you spread some on a Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuit, you will have a taste explosion in your mouth!
Always great food and service. I make it a habit to eat breakfast there when in the area.
Friendly staff but nowhere to really sit and eat. Chicken and waffles were great.
