Amazing Indian food downtown, finally! I tried several things from the menu. My absolute favorite was the butter chicken. It was served with biriyani which was also delicious. The butter paneer is very flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. The tacos are more like flattened burritos that are grilled but they are so flavorful. I personally enjoyed the vegetable taco more than the chicken taco but the chicken was still delicious. I also had the vegetable samosa and the chicken samosa and again enjoyed the veggie one more. The naan was cooked perfect and the mint chutney was good on everything. Also the rice came with a yogurt and cucumber dipping sauce on the side that really added some cool refreshing flavors to balance out the spice of the butter chicken and butter paneer. Finally, the chai is a perfect end to the meal. The owner was extremely nice and so was the other guy working the counter. We had a wonderful experience and will be back to try the rest of the menu.
Authentic, simple, and very flavorful! The cafe area was clean and the service was friendly. Parking can be tricky but that is downtown Lafayette. However, that won’t stop me from going back.
This was my first time having Indian food ever; I had the Tuesday butter chicken special. I thought I might only enjoy an item or two, but I enjoyed every single thing that was in the #4 largest combo. The price was super reasonable for the amount of food and I ate at least 2 meals for the 10 dollars and change I was charged. The food was flavorful, and felt like it was made with love and care. I would fully recommend this place for everyone to try, as I will definitely be visiting again!
The lunch combos are biiiig and very good. The spice level is somewhat lacking, but the flavors were solid. I asked about if they also had dinner service, which they do, but the menu is the same. I think that a separate and more extensive dinner menu would draw a better date night crowd. I will definitely be going back for lunch in the very near future!
The owners are very friendly and the food is satisfying. Tastes good and it doesn't feel like too much.
The current layout results in an awkward environment; it's very empty and quiet, playing music might not help as there is an echo. The plate lunch format is nice, but it's the same options for every day.
Absolutely delicious Indian fare at very reasonable prices. All of their dishes are perfectly-spiced! Get the combo #4 and try all of the daily offerings for only $9.95. One stop here and you’ll be hooked.
We used to live in India so we really miss authentic indian food so we decided to try Clove. Wow! The first bite of biryani made me say, "tastes like india!" I got the#4 which was a lot of food for only $10. Clean place with nostalgic atmosphere and great service. I can't wait to come back!
Great place. The staff was very friendly and the owner personally came out and asked us how our food was. The food was very good, but there aren't too many options.

Super nice guys from India! I went in looking for some samosas and chai wanting to relive some experiences that I had in India for 6 years. they were absolutely perfect definitely a 10 out of 10!
