I love there dumplings, be sure to let them soak in the sauce before you eat them. The chicken and rice go well together. They give you tons of food for the price. I've been eating there for years, it's a special treat when I cheat on my diet. Everyone is work with loves it. I know a few people that don't like there rice, but they are wrong.
The food is really good and fast! I go there almost every week. They are open on Wed and Thursday also. Maybe there is something wrong with the online information .

TASTIEST AND CHEAPEST CHINESE IN LAFAYETTE!!. For 6 dollars, I can get a box FULL of beef lo mein and a huge bowl of egg drop soup. Everything on their menu is flavor-full! You have to try this place if you live in Lafayette. The only downside that I can say to this place is that they aren't open on Wednesday and Thursdays, but other than that their food is amazing!
Great prices, fast, and excellent egg rolls! Also, the staff are very friendly. This is our go-to place when we don't feel like cooking. The combo dinners make 2 or 3 meals each. The veggies are plentiful and not overcooked.

Eat here a couple times a month. Great food, I personally like Mongolian chicken, boneless spare ribs and general tso's. Good love the $5 lunch specials also.
Our favorite local Chinese!. We have been patrons of Hot Wok for a couple of years now and find their food to be well worth the price, crisp and fresh, and ample in portion size! A couple of times a while back we ordered with employees who really didn't understand English, poor dears, and ended up with incorrect orders. But that was a long time ago, and since then we haven't had a problem with communication, even with some of our "picky" modifications in ingredients and spice levels within the dishes. Now...I am a Yankee by origin and back home almost EVERY Chinese restaurant delivered...so I guess I was spoiled. Sometimes the only thing to cure a Sunday hangover is some fried rice and a nice spicy veggie dish...but the half mile drive to the place is just too much to bare (especially in these LA summers). If Hot Wok would offer delivery, my lazy butt would probably order twice as much...just sayin'.
This place is on speed dial for me! Sesame chicken and egg rolls are my favorites! Great place and great prices!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I stopped in for lunch one afternoon. They have a daily lunch special (till 3:30pm) where you get a nice size portion of whatever entree you pick, white or fried rice, plus some of the best crab Rangoon I've ever had... All for $4.95! Great overall value. I didn't call and order ahead but it only took about 10 mins or so to have my food ready after I just walked in and ordered. Very good =) I'll definitely visit this place again.
The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. The only complaint I have is you used to be able to dine in. Since COVID they don’t allow you to dine in anymore.
Love food and egg rolls are made fresh not frozen mushy egg rolls.

I’ve been eating here for years. This used to be my spot in college. Food is always perfect and hot.
This was once the place to go. I guess the word got out and they are a little too busy nowadays. I guess it's time to find a new spot when it goes from 10 min wait to 30. Or I need to call earlier next time?!

Excellent place. Amazing food and an amazing price. Good and kind hearted people run this restaurant. I once came in way after closing and they still offered to cook my meal. They are dedicated and dependent. They deserve every star on this board.
