This was our first time visiting here. We live in Texas and were here for a softball tournament. It was okay. The food was not fresh unfortunately. The items we did eat tasted good but would have been so much better fresh. The service was good and the employees were nice.
Love Lotus Garden! The food is very good & is always as I expect it to be. We enjoy the family times we have here. Today we celebrated a birthday and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
Stopped by on the way home, and would definitely go back again. Staff was very friendly and prompt, and the food was great! Every city/town needs a nice chinese buffet like this one.
We hadn’t been there in years, but it was still a good/decent experience. We paid about $10 for the lunch buffet , which ends at 3pm. Drinks were $3. We went on a Thursday. We made it at 2:30 and the food wasn’t as fresh as it could’ve been, but around 2:50 they began replacing to prepare for dinner. This is when the boiled shrimp came out. They were pretty good!
Always fresh, always well stocked with all menu items.

After hearing that Lotus Garden was closing it’s doors, we were part of the countless numbers of people who flocked to their doors to give support and say farewell to a landmark restaurant in Lafayette. Upon checking out at the register, I asked the cashier what were the plans for all the waitstaff once the restaurant closed? She replied, that depends on if they decide to stay on with the new owner!!!
As I walked out the door of Lotus Garden, I thought to myself, absolute brilliant marketing!!
Best service I've had in a very long time!
My family and I went on a Friday afternoon. The buffet has tons on options. My only gripe was the sushi was not to my liking. The rice was cold and a little gummy. I overlooked that one small problem because everything else was pretty hot and fresh.
Our server was Wonderful! She was very attentive and very friendly. She made us feel so welcome being that was our first time there. We walked out with full bellies and and wide smiles.
I live eating here. We live in the complete opposite side of Lafayette and it's worth the drive. The food is good and the staff and owner are nice.
I been eating here over 6 yrs and never ever had a problem. The food was always great and so was the service. Its roomy enough for a family to enjoy a day out eating here. I love getting my food cooked on their grill uts the best flavors ever. I always earn a free meal by getting my coupon stamped and enough stamps earn u a free meal so it helps on the cost of my family of 5. We prefer this food than eating elsewhere.
I have been here many times. The food is always very good. I like the fact that they have healthy options including the Mongolian grill. The wait staff is always very courteous and attentive. The best part is that all of this is at the best price in the city. I would recommend this place to anyone living in or visiting the Lafayette area. Best chinese buffet in the city, hands down
