This was one of the best Chinese places I've eaten at in Lafayette. As promised the food came out in 10 minutes. Hot and fresh and with free soup. I had the Lo Mein noodles-best I've ever had at any Chinese place anywhere. My husband had the fried rice and he agrees it's among the best. We travel a lot so we eat out A LOT so when we say it can compare that's HUGE! I'll be back cuz it's right down the street from my job. So happy we chose this spot for lunch totally awesome. Good food service and prices. Hurry up and go!
We eat China One at least once a month. The wait is always 10 minutes when you call in your order and we've never had to wait. It's definitely our go-to. Their General Tsao chicken is great!
Good fast cheap Chinese. Very fast actually. Moo shoo dishes are excellent if you're watching your carbs. No rice no pancakes. You can also order it "more healthy" and they will cook it without oil! If you like General Tso chicken, I admit theirs is a bit strange. Same with the Gen Tso bean curd.
$5.25 Lunch Special For the Win!. Look, it is not the best Chinese food in the world not even the best in Lafayette. But $5.25 lunch special is great. Soup, Soda, or Eggroll?
Honey chicken and General Tso chicken were delicious. Service was prompt and courteous.
Fresh and Consistently Good. We're regulars because the food seems healthier at China One -- fresher and less greasy. We usually get the mai fun, lo mein and crab rangoon. Everything is hot and ready to go quickly. I'm sensitive to MSG and I've never had a problem there.
ICHIBAN!!!. I have not had ANYTHING here that isn't DEEELICIOUS!! The Wang's are great custodian's of the Chinese cuisine and cook your food up HOT, FAST and CHEAP! Favs: Shrimp LoMein, Beef & Broccoli (w/LoMein), Pepper Steak w/Onion (w/LoMein) and the Sesame Chicken (w/Rice or LoMein) even the KIDS will eat! You like Chinese Takeout? You'll LOVE this China One's!!!

Delicious, great value. We ordered take out from China One for the first time today. The portions were large and the food was very fresh. Each dish was large enough to feed two people. The woman who prepared the food, who might also be the owner? was perhaps the sweetest person I've met in ages. This is my new favorite take out place.
"Sank you SOO much!" Great food, fresh and not too salty. Service and value are excellent. No delivery, but the service makes up for it, and everything is ready in 10 minutes.
Love love love this place. Very friendly people, large portions and great price. Always ready in 10 minutes whether you call in or go in and place the order. Always consistent on everything.
Friendly and polite staff. Orders completed promptly. Ordered Bourbon Chicken, fried rice with an egg roll. Egg roll crunchy with good flavor. Bourbon chicken was mild tasting. Wasn't bad, just milder than I would have preferred. I have been eating at China One for a number of years and would highly suggest going there.

I ordered the orange chicken with shrimp fried rice about a month ago which was April 2023. They accommodated me so well by adding the orange zest that I asked for to further concentrate the orange flavor. I had leftovers for lunch and dinner the next day.i will patronize this business again.
One of the best-kept secrets of college students: cheap, quick and filling. The owners are very nice and heavy-handed when serving. Their dinner plates hit the spot.

This is the best Chinese food in town. All food is cooked to order, the establishment remembers everyone, I hadn't been here in years and they remembered me like I never left.
