You could miss Fat Pats tucked as it is in a strip center on Verot but that would be a mistake.
The wings were fried crispy perfection. There is a menu full of unique sandwich/burger/hot dog choices. I had the pork and bean burger. It is a fried pork tenderloin with red bean paste. I know how that sounds but it is very good.
I recommend you give Pats a try if you are in the area if no go there.
I always enjoy coming to Fat Pats, whether it's with family, a date, with coworker's... There food is really good, they have specials, and you can always find a reason to "pass a good time" here.
Good food and good tiny beers. Small place with great employees. I got the Milwaukee Brat and it was pretty good. I prefer mine grilled but this was still good. I only wish they had man beer glasses for the draft.
Very good food! Never dissatisfied at their burgers. Those sweet dough buns bring them over the top! Patties are always well seasoned and homemade, not frozen flat burgers...
Fat Pat's is an awesome place to hang out on week nights or weekends. There's never a wait for service or food and it's delicious. Plus they always have some sort of beer/hot dog/hamburger deal going on on Sat/Sun!

Fat Pat's is a Bar and Grill located off of Verot School Road. I have been hearing people rant and rave about how incredible the food was at Fat Pat's. It took me a long time to finally go, because every time we decided to go eat, I would never remember Fat Pat's. Simply because it is not on the end of town that I live on. My husband and I do lunch dates often, so this particular Friday we decided to go to Fat Pat's. But my husband was adamant that I needed to be there before 11:30 because the place fills up fast. This made we want to try this place more. I wanted to know what the fuss was all about. Upon entrance into the restaurant, it was the view of a simple restaurant with a laid back feel. The restaurant was decorated with sport themed items. The owners are supporters of our Louisiana teams. Which I love. It gave me a family like environment. There was a bar area with Televisions, a few booths and high chair style tables and chairs. Personally I am not a fan of High Chair style Tables and Chairs. But I wasn't there for long term so it was ok. Fat Pat's also has an outdoor area with tables and chairs. Which is perfect for Louisiana area. The area is covered as well. The lady who waited on us was very nice. We ordered very quickly because we knew exactly what we felt like eating. My husband decided on the Fried Catfish Sandwich which was served on a delicious toasted bun with lettuce, tomato and a special sauce with crinkled fries. He gave me a bite of his sandwich. The sandwich was pretty good. Fish was fried perfectly and the sandwich was dressed nicely. I decided on the Mile High burger. The burger is a seasoned patty topped with pepper jack cheese, grilled yellow, red and green peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mayo, mustard and ketchup. The burger was very good. Not overcooked, seasoned well. It was definitely worth the visit there. The topping were perfect for the sandwich. The bun was also toasted. I am not sure if they make their buns in house
The lil boy burgers were delicious. So were the fries. 3.50 for lil boy burgers on Wednesdays.
Burgers: sweet dense yeast roll bun, seasoned patties, plenty of toppings. Pretty affordable $7-10 comes w/plenty of crinkle cut Cajun seasoned fries. I ask for extra special sauce to dip my fries in.
Great burger. Ate at the Verot School location recently and was very pleasantly surprised. I expected more of the same old bar food...but nope, the burger was quite large, seasoned well and cooked to order. The place is a little noisy, but hey, it's a sports bar. I will be back.
A no-brainer for good food.. I really like all of the food here! The hot dogs are exceptional and can fill a grown man up. The burgers are second to none, although, the patties seemed to have shrunken a little since I first started going some time ago - but they're still fantastic!
2 for 1 drinks is great, not to mention free queso on Fridays . . . the queso is awesome!
TV's at every booth . . . it's a great place.
Wanted to check it out to see if it was as good as the Broussard location. It totally was. Our waitress, Brittany, was awesome! Energetic, attentive, and got everything correct. First, we got the fried pickle appetizer, and then I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and added grilled onions with fries. The bun for the sandwich was SO GOOD! My husband got the grilled chicken wrap, added spicy Buffalo sauce, and had fries. I enjoyed the 2for1 house margaritas on the rocks. I'm just disappointed I didn't have enough room for dessert (my favorite part)! It was nice and quiet in the restaurant, didn't have a lot of people, guessing because it was Tuesday! Definitely will be back soon, even if it is just for dessert and a tipsy shake!
Went today for the first time. Excellent. Elizabeth and Hannah were awesome servers. Management and kitchen staff were superb. Great place. I will be back. Fyi, Chicken bacon ranch wrap was really good. Check it out.

Excellent food and service, highly recommend!!! Also, you MUST try the peanut butter bacon burger, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was absolutely amazing, I would definitely eat it again!
great people, great food. so far i've sampled their chili dog and cheese burger. both were really tasty and fries were included. parking is not an issue
Y’all , I ordered some kind of shrimp wrap . Holy cow it was delicious. I love the atmosphere ,it was in the afternoon not at night . It seems like a nice place .I’ll have to bring my husband on a date lol.

Omg one of the best burgers iv ever had! Incredibly friendly wait staff, and they even entertain my daughter in a guessing game!! We had so much fun with the cornhole boards on the way out. Really good food and family friendly place, where you can tell that the employees really do love their job! Very professional, and attentive! Thanks for having us for my birthday lunch! It made my day a lot brighter!
Excellent beers, burgers, and more! The windows' tinting, which blocks out the worst of the midday glare, is something I like. This is a pleasant, laid-back spot with delicious meals!
I got my elderly mom out today! She actually liked it there! That's a must do over! Thanks for good food and great service!
