Forget all of the places in Lafayette to get a "pizza." B&C is the best place to get a decent pie, or calzone. If you are just interested sandwiches, they've got a lot of those too, and they're delicious. I always have a hard time choosing, but never leave disappointed. Well, other than not having a bigger stomach to eat everything.
Very creative take on southern food. Everything ordered at the table was exceptional. Service was personable and knowledgeable. Try brunch chicken and waffles or the brunch burger. Excellent.
My wife and I have dinner or lunch here on a regular basis. This is definitely the best Pizza in town at the moment and certainly the only place serving true Italian pizza. On Thursday's the Jucy Lucy is amazing for lunch and on Wednesdays the fried chicken is one of the best in town. Pretty much everything here is amazing.
This place reminds me of a hippie place from the 60's. I was half expecting someone to get up read a poem that didn't rhyme. I thought I wanted leave as soon as I walked in, but the food was excellent. I had a chicken sandwich with a Caesar salad served in a large styrofoam cup both were delicious. My wife had the gouda mac which if you like mac and cheese this is a must try dish. We also ordered a cup of chicken and andouille gumbo with the tradition potato salad and again it was great. Most people I saw ordered take out as there is not much sitting area. All in all the food was very good and I even read a poem before I left and it didn't rhyme.
I enjoyed the authentic Sicilian (warning it's nothing like the Italian food I'm use to aka Pizza Hut)! We had a meatball calzone (HUGE!) one of their delicious pizza with the hand tossed crust, gumbo, the Juicy Lucy stuffed burger, and the Rosemary potatoe wedges. The cashier Zoey was very patient and explained each dish. We also had some bourbon ice tea to round out the meal. Bring your wallet and your appetite.
My husband and I had dinner recently for the first time. The atmosphere is cozy, warm and inviting! The drinks were great and we liked the unique menu. We both had the flank steak which was very good but slightly cold. I look forward to visiting again!
Hands down, the best pizza in Lafayette! Don't expect the brittle crust which is customary at most local pizza places. This is true Neapolitan wood-fire pizza done extremely well. On par with the best places in NYC.
This is one of those places that is hard to review, especially after only one visit. However, as in the adventure's first step, this review is being written with respect to the surroundings and the hearts and souls poured into this little circus. Bread and Circus is the foodie's jungle gem; you will have fun, you may get hurt, and it may cost you more than expect or intend but you will return because your soul seeks the unknown. It's the simple pleasure of surprise, the hope to find something new and exciting, that gets you to order that mysterious menu item you can't pronounce.
Very impressed! The waiter was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxing, fresh flowers on every table, and the food was nothing short of delicious! I can't wait to go back! We had chicken and waffles, a burger, the mimosa kit and regular mimosas. Everything was so flavorful and fresh!
If you are new to the Acadiana area, BC&P needs to be on your top 3 places to visit. Wednesday is fried chicken day, and it puts all other fried chicken to shame... And I don't know what they put in the sauce but it is nothing short of magical.
Dinner service is a treat, the baked chicken was a homerun. The staff is personable and accomidating and the hostess is very sweet while still maintaing a profesional conduct, never letting chitchat distract her from getting waiting patrons seated, asap.
Thank you B&CP for delivering exellency to the Acadiana area, we are all very proud of you!!
I finally checked this place out. The moment I walked in I was greeted at least 4 times by 4 different very friendly staff members. I was seated and met by the very knowledgeable server Chynna. She was very helpful and warm. The smells coming from the kitchen were amazing, I started with the Angry Meatballs. OMG it was amazing! Succulent tender veal, pork, and beef in a flavorful sauce with peppers. Quite possibly the best Meatballs I’ve ever had! My only problem was it was served in a blazing hot bowl that was filled to the top. It was very hard to dissect them into eatable pieces. The presentation was lovely, but just not practical. But it was so good I will definitely get it again LOL. You will not get your typical pizza here, no meat lovers, no supreme, but what you will get is an excellent pizza with minimal toppings. I had the Speck and Mozz. The crust was thin and crispy and had a nice chew. The sauce was elegant with a mild sweetness. I might ask for a little less of it though. I’m not a fan of sauce falling out of a slice when you bite it and it keeps the topping from being attached to the pizza. They slide all over the place. The cheese is quality and in no short supply. Man that smoked ham was great! It really made the dish tip top. Overall the service and food experience was great and I recommend it to everyone. It is small but it’s rustic. Very low lighting and I had trouble reading the menu. Very light print for descriptions and hard to read in the lighting. Great little place. I look forward to returning.
The Wednesday-only fried chicken plate was seasoned right and crispy. The Gouda cheese and Mac was creamy and hearty. The coleslaw balances out the dish. The pizza by the slice was flavorful. The place has a nice eclectic vibe. Not wheelchair friendly but it's manageable. Currently, Groupon is offering $25 voucher for $15. This place is worth the trip even without the voucher. I'm going again soon, especially on Wednesday. See you there!
Our server, Julia, was incredible! It was our first visit here and it definitely won't be the last. The staff were all very attentive and eager to make our visit pleasant. The food was also incredible! The drinks we had tonight we're flavorful and gorgeous. Everything was well presented and creative!
Haven't been leaving reviews for a while but this place deserves a good one. Have had many Napolitano pizzas in my past and B&C's are really good; the pies are bigger than any other Napolitano ones I've had in many major cities.
Fried chicken skins were awesome, but after eating half of the order i felt like i may be shaving years off my life! Great appetizer for 2 or 3 people, however.
Im sure if this was a place in Houston with the exact same menu, they'd be makin oodles of money.
I typically go during the late hours and everything you get is beyond incredible! I got the fries and they exceeded my expectations (you can’t even seem under all the toppings!) They always have a random “drank” on the menu and it’ll hit you when you least expect it.
You can’t go wrong with anything in the menu!

The food is so fresh and delicious. The service was actually prompt considering everything is made to order.
Our favorite restaurant in Lafayette. We have eaten there dozens of times and are constantly surprised and delighted by Manny’ creativity and talent.
A must visit.
The best pizza anywhere in the south. The burgers are delicious as well as the fried chicken and the rest of the menu. The staff are always smiling.
This is an awesome hole in the wall 🍕 joint! Super fresh ingredients, they even grow their own basil. It's got that hipster vibe to it, very artsy feel. Not a large place, so seating is limited. Service is great! Pizza options are very unique, I tried the one with eggplant and loved it! Their desserts are also unique and off the chain delicious! Had the vanilla panna cotta it was sooo good. 😋 Definitely worth checking out!
Loved this place!! Great Food!! Love great Italian food & everything sourced, freshly cooked, natural ingredients, fresh basil, great presentation & who doesn't love Homemade desserts! Thanks Chef!! We will be back!!
