Absolutely fantastic. The food was 100% authentic and flavorful. No matter what you get, pair it with some delicious nam! The owner was incredibly helpful and sociable, and genuinely seems to care about his guests as well as has passion for the food he provides. Will definitely keep it in our trip log for future visits!
Our group was visiting from out of town and on a whim, we decided to try this place. The only thing I can say is that I’ve never been more impressed with a restaurant. The food was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The service was top notch and very fast. The owner came out and made sure everything was perfect. You can tell that the owner and everyone else involved in the preparation of the food cared about both the food and the customer. The experience was excellent and I recommend everyone to check out this place as soon as possible! 5 stars!!
A little unassuming restaurant with fabulous Indian food. The spices were just right with lots of flavour. We loved the Saag curry lamb...yummy.
The server and maybe cook was very friendly to match. The butter chicken was more tomato based than I was used to but still good.
There was no one else in the restaurant when we were there and I am really surprised, but I guess there is lots of competition for restaurants in the area. Enjoy.
Being from New Jersey it has always been easier for me to have indian restaurants around all the time. But while visiting Orlando I was really worried about Indian food near by as half of the family member thinks Indian food is comfort food for them. We found out about Maharaja Indian Restaurant. First of all it was our choice because they are open till 11:45. They’re flexible with the recipes and they can make you how you like your food if you ask them. One of the delicious Indian food place I’ve tried in United States. Staff is very friendly and helping. Food from this restaurant played big role for our tiring Orlando trip. Would love to eat this food again whenever I’m in Orlando next.
I love this place. Been back here 5 times in a couple of weeks. I’m from the UK 🇬🇧 & Indian is one of our national dishes. I’ve been coming to the USA now for 18 years, mainly Florida but been to Vegas / New York and a few other states and have never been to an Indian that tastes as good as this in the states.
I went into an Indian restaurant in Vegas & bumped in to an X Neighbour of mine, he lived literally four doors down from my house when he lived in London. I couldn’t believe it, and still Maharaja has my vote. Let’s hope they keep there standards up. 🙏
Fab food!!We have never tasted Indian food as good as this...! Everything is freshly prepared and light; the combinations of flavours are wonderful. Portions are sensible and service is friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back!!
Fresh, authentic cuisine, great service, 2 miles from Orange Lake. We've been dining out all over Orlando every meal for a week. This place is a hidden gem, our favorite! Delivery available.

Our route to the Villa was blocked due to a police incident and GPS was just taking me back to the blocked route! Went back to the restaurant and asked for help and one of the guy in the restaurant asked us to follow him as he took us to the Villa a different route!!
I dare you to find another restaurant that will do that!
