It's a truly hidden gem in key Largo. The service is friendly and attentive, the food is delicious, and the views from the waterfront patio are beautiful. In addition, the prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. All in all, even though we only could go for breakfast there I think the restaurant is a great place to go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Great location in key largo , next to the ocean . Very rustic looking restaurant. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome . Their breakfast menu was simple . But the seafood for breakfast selection was great . Wife had lobster Benedict, she loved I had my usual gravy and biscuits. The sauce was not so great didn’t taste any crumbles of sausage. Also the sauce seems separated could see oil on top. Incoming heartburn later . But it was well seasoned. Will come back and try their fish Friday “ all you can eat fish and beer.
Localized light breakfast was good enough^^ Atmosphere around it was calmed and bright, so that makes peaceful and beautiful moring. I would like to bring my lover to here again. Thanks for your kind service, beautiful ladies^^♡♡♡
Food was delicious. Four of us had different breakfast items and they were all tasty. Upon arriving we were told that we could sit outside on the porch, but no one ever came to wait on us. Eventually we went inside and we're waited on immediately. The atmosphere was ok. There may be a lot of locals that also eat there on Saturdays, because we felt unwelcomed by the crowd and the wait staff. I would go back.
Just off Transylvania avenue this is a nice little place to eat. We stopped in this morning and had some breakfast and it was really good. I had the all meat omelette with hash browns and wheat toast and my wife had biscuits and gravy. I would definitely recommend this place.
Best breakfast on your way to Key West. Eggs Benedict were delicious. I ordered the one served on top of a ham steak and cornbread. We decided to stop there after reading all the good reviews and it did not disappoint.
Incredible hidden jem. We drive down from Ft Lauderdale just to have breakfast here. Food is delicious. Servings are plentiful. The service is great. You have to try their cinnamon pancakes.
This is a late review. I visited The Hideout Restaurant on 12-08-2022. I had the Lobster Omelet with a hash brown casserole. Delicious!
Perfect place to stop and eat and watch the sunrise right on the water; friendly people and amazing eats with a view that can’t be beat!
Stopped in on a Saturday for lunch-immediately greeted/seated upon entering which is always a good omen. We had a burger, patty melt, grouper sandwich, and tenders. Crinkle-cut fries- yes! Everything was perfectly cooked to order and very tasty. Burgers are definitely home-made and the blackened grouper was off the hook. 😉 Friendly and fast service, pretty water views, and down-home Keys vibes rounded out our excellent meal. You’re crushing it Hideout-see you next trip south!
