Great food and live music! The chicken wings are the best in town; even better than the wings at the Peanut (local bar and grill). They often have great food specials that aren't on the regular menu.
I've lived 2 minutes from this place for 13 years and wish I had come here for meals sooner. I'm a casual homesteader foodie and this place brings the good eats! They make their sauces and every dish is far above bar food fare. Come here for Friday night shrimp boil and you will NOT be disappointed. All around excellent experience.
I had lunch here for the first time because of a recommendation. Now, I am recommending the Hideout Bar & Grill. I expected their food to be good, but it exceeded my expectations. The wings were very large, hot off the fire, seasoned well, juicy, tender, slightly crispy, and mouth watering delicious. I didn’t need or want any sauces on my wings because they were already perfect. The fries and onion rings were also very good and hot, not warmed under a lamp. The portions were large and tasty. We will return soon because I started craving the food again the next day.
This little hole in the wall has a great personality! The live music is great. The band enjoys jamming out, and we get the benefit.
The pizza is so good. In fact, this little bar has some of the best bar food in the northland! The employees work as a team to produce an amazing experience that has us always going back for more. My lady and I have made this place an ongoing tradition. I was reluctant to review this place because it's a well-kept secret.
The jumbo wings are THE best I’ve ever had! Seriously. Hands down, the BEST. As the name suggests, they’re huge. I can usually eat 6-8 traditional wings, but at the Hideout, I can only eat about 3-4. And the fries! I got some the last time we were there and didn’t realize how big the serving was…our whole table probably could’ve shared one basket. Good prices. Amazing food! You must go if you like wings!
Great place for wings, NY style pizza, and gumbo! One of my favorite live music venues!
Tonight is my first time here. Really cool atmosphere and friendly staff. Originally, there was going to be an open jam which is why I came. There was some miscommunication about things changing and there was a band booked to play. They were so cool and let me play a set with them. I'm not in the pictures but my saxophone is!
It felt like a small town bar! The vibe was great. Service was amazing even after a small mistake. They also accommodated for my distaste (get the homecut fries!!) of the homemade chips. The place even has a small area to dance, nobody was dancing, and I will definitely dance with my girlfriend next time because they had some banging music.
Definitely a locals/regulars bar but as outsiders, we were warmly welcomed. Cheese fries were solid. Good beer selection at reasonable prices. They had an excellent blues band on a weekday night when we there.
Pizza was great! NY style with a sweet sauce. I enjoyed it!
We were weary of coming in based on the name but ended up here anyway on the way to sturgis. Glad we did. The pours were good the price was good and Angela was awesome. If your into cars you will have a blast. Live music when we were there. My kind if spot. A good drink and good proce great people and music. This is definitely a locals place, but they are all friendly.
