Anthony loves to find dessert wherever we go and this was my choice in Kansas City.
Covid-19: I couldn't find a way to order or pay online. We went to the store. I thought it would be quick to get ice cream, but boy was I wrong. Luckily we waited outside for the most part. We went in when there was one person in front of us and I think it took at least 10-15 minutes for her to scoop their 4 pints. No samples or dining in right now.
We got two regular waffle cones (these seemed to go faster). The flavors we got were: strawberry birthday cake, carrot cake, Thai tea, salted pretzel, golden chai, and bananas foster.
My favorite flavors were strawberry birthday cake and Thai tea. Salted pretzel was also pretty good.
I was really excited about all of the unique flavors, but I ended up a little disappointed in the execution. They all sounded good, but most of them weren't very flavorful. You had to work to taste the flavor you ordered. Our bananas foster was also melted when we got it. I think it had been sitting on the counter (not in the freezer) for quite a while.
Overall, I wouldn't say this is one of the best ice cream shops I've been to, but we did enjoy it.
Lots of Rotating Tasty Flavors. Friendly Staff. Clean Establishment. Free Street Parking. Decent Prices. Waffle Cone was homemade( tasted stale). Ice Cream was tasty (Betty Rae’s is better). Overall a nice ice cream shop!
A must stop anytime we are in the KC area. Just a little disappointed that they closed the leawood location, since that is closest to where we normally are. Very happy that they have started their flight option of 7 flavors. Always so hard to pick.
This is definitely worth a try and you will likely keep coming back. They have unique flavors of deliciously creamy ice cream and switch them out so there's always something new to try. They'll let you try something before you get a dish of it, so go ahead and experiment cause even some of the flavors that sound weird are really good.
I love love love this place!!! They have the best gelato around! They use local ingredients which is amazing. The flavors are also incorporated into the local businesses sometimes. Example they'll have brewery inspired flavors, they're delicious! This place is a must try. If you're a local that goes often sign up for their membership program with your phone number and you can earn points that gets you a free pint!
Omg delicious ice cream. I've been here twice and the flavors are always changing. They have very unique and Artesian blends. Rosemary in ice cream? Yes they have it and it's tasty. Carrot cake ice cream? Yep. Moroccan mint and honey? You guessed it. And the dark chocolate was outstanding. They let you taste a few, then 2 scoops or 3 scoops or take home a pint. I will be back. You should go.
I love Glace! They have such interesting flavors and they're all amazing. I've never had a bad experience when I've visited them. Today there was one employee working, and she got everyone served and paid in a timely manner! Seriously can't praise this place enough! HIGHLY recommend it! (Pictured below is my small size raspberry cookie crumble)!
Too good to even describe. Certainly one of the top places I’ve been in USA. Every flavor is good, and most are absolutely drop-dead delicious. The dark chocolate, for instance (and mind you, I’m not a huge chocolate ice cream person)... it’s like... the smoothest, richest, most flavorful, wonderful thing you can imagine. It feels like you’re eating the inside of Lindt™ Lindor truffle – and tastes even better! The salted caramel... same thing... just mind-blowing. And the coconut lime... I can’t even. Seriously, I think I’ll put down the phone and drive the 3.5 hours for more! (Yes, sadly, I’m not in KC; that’s why I went twice in like 12 hours – because it’s that amazing!)

OMG! So many amazing flavors! Absolutely recommend it ! Dark chocolate, goat cheese with cheries and banana are my favorite flavors!
