Absolutely delicious! Service was impeccable and food was absolutely delightful. I chose the Burrito Bandito and it was succulent. The plate was heaping and the guacamole that went with it was one of the best I've ever had...homemade with perfect twist of flavor and zip! The burrito was smothered with cheese and absolutely loaded full of chicken. In addition the re-fried beans and the rice were extraordinary. The beans were topped with cheese and the rice had exceptional flavor and mixture of vegetables that went perfectly with the burrito. I would highly recommend this place to everyone! Exceptional!
We were in Jacksonville going 4x4ing near by. On Friday night we walked in and the place was packed, so we went sat at the bar. The Bar staff "Dallas" and "Austin" were a lot of fun and gave a very good atmosphere and fun place to have some friendly banter a few drinks and a meal, the food was fantastic, great price and large portions. We enjoyed it that we came back Saturday night too and were not let down again! I recommend it and will be back next time we go 4x4ing over there!
Drinks are great, service fast, hostess was friendly and pleasant! Food is always good...portions could be bigger though for the price. Would recommend!! 4.4 out of 5!
Excellent meal, grilled chicken with green spaghetti, and side of steamed vegetables. Chips and salsa were very good. The staff was very friendly. My server, Haley, was excellent! I'll be dining here on a regular basis.
I love Mexican food, and I have eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants. This is one of the best I've ever experienced. The service is great, and the food is excellent. There is no doubt it is the best Mexican in Jacksonville. I would highly recommend if you like Mexican food.
For as many people as this restaurant can hold, there isn't enough handicap parking when they are busy. The food has gotten way better than when Baja first opened. If you ate there in the first year and decided not to return, then you should give it another chance now.

The atmosphere really surprised me as I walked in, they are authentic to the core. Great service, great ambiance and the food was absolutely incredible.
The soup with avocado and chicken, paired with Raquel's salad was such an incredible meal I immediately made a note to try to replicate the recipe, or find a place that does, at home (I am from out of town).
A great experience, I am jealous of the locals for having this place!
Good delicious food and just like any other Mexican restaurant. Friendly staff and quick service. This one has a bar and plenty of TVs if you are looking to watch soccer or football.
