My wife and I have been coming here for months now. We typically come in at least once a week. At this point I don’t know on what to commend this establishment more; it’s staff or the food.
The family that owns and runs Vida Tacos is nothing short of awesome. Each time we return, they welcome us back and ask us how we’ve been since the last time they saw us. The rest of the staff there is friendly too.
The food here is amazing. Everything they make here, they make well and they make fresh. I get the carne asada cali burrito just about every time. My wife tends to get the same but with chicken. I have had just about everything on the menu and have yet to eat something I have not enjoyed.
I definitely recommend this place to everyone. Anytime we have company in town, we are sure to bring them here. For those with a hefty appetite, I recommend the “Noah”.
We love this place. The people are great. The food is great. Our 5 year old is willing to pass by that place with the giant M so that we can eat at “the taco place”. What better can I say than that?
Veteran Owned, Great Service, & Authentic Mexican food made with quality ingredients! I can’t believe I hadn’t been until now! What a great meal. I ordered the Steak Quesadilla because I was in a steak and cheese kind of mood (as if I’m ever not). Wow, it was HUGE and the steak was actual delicious steak that wasn’t overcooked. Most places use the cheapest meats and try to disguise it with sauces. Not here this was fresh and delicious. They also have a great selection of Mexican sodas and Teavana Teas that I’ve never even seen before. I got a Blueberry Pineapple Tea that was amazing. Julie the owner was beyond friendly as well as the staff.
We were visiting from out of state and found this place that looks a lot like a small taco place close to home. The food was pretty good. Our order of fries and chips were undercooked, and that was disappointing, but the flavors all were there. We had a bit of trouble eating our tacos as they kept falling apart, we recommend two tortillas per taco. Just a heads up for all you folks who don't like spicy foods, the mild sauce was a bit strong for me. The flavor of it was great, but it was quite hot. Price was what we expected and the quality was great. Order was ready when we picked it up.
Excellent. Our new favorite place for tacos and burritos. Everything was so clean, staff was nice, and the food was amazing!

I can say their menu is delicious taste of southern California Mexican. I haven't had a bad meal yet from here. The hard parts are picking what to get and not letting my eyes be bigger than my stomach. Highly recommend the Machete, the Mulitta, and the Torta but everything is delicious. The corn in a cup is fantastic to split as an appetizer. I haven't tried the shrimp because I don't care for seafood but it looks good when others have ordered it. We were looking for Mexican food to take 2 Marines that hadnt had Mexican food in over 8 months and stumbled onto Vida Tacos. The place did not disappoint. Kind of did family style as girls ordered tacos and we added Vida Fries with chicken and Vida Nachos with asada. Portions were huge and all was very good. A special treat was the agua de cucumber. Wow, had never had anything like it.
Dont judge a book by its cover! Its easy to miss this shop but if you give it a shot, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! Great food and I love the small bar in the middle. Military friendly place and will DEFINITELY be returning soon!!!
Today was my 3rd visit. They are consistently polite, busy, and efficient. My first two visits I ate the Pollo Vida Bowl (which is huge!) and today I had the beef taco combo. So far, everything I've eaten here has been great. The food is clearly cooked fresh and it tastes like it. I'm sure they're busy because the word is out. Highly recommend.
The food was hot and quick to receive. The staff was super friendly and explained the dishes I wasn't sure of. The spicy sauce was on fire like a reaper or ghost pepper dip be careful! Great place will visit again.
I just moved to Jacksonville, and I found Vida Tacos while I was delivering for Uber Eats. So glad I went and checked it out! Nachos were awesome and the staff is super friendly!
The tacos are amazing!! Tried the Carne Asada Fries today. They were pretty good but the fries could have been crispier. Veteran owned business with a great family atmosphere!!
