Deli Counter not a Sandwich Deli.... This place was a bit disappointing because it wasn't what i was expecting.
I went in thinking it was a sandwich shop type place where you would order a sandwich, side and a drink and sit at a table to enjoy a nice quick meal.
But no. It's a deli-counter. The kind where you get meats and side dishes and desserts by the pound to take home and consume.
They do specialize in Russian foods, so if you are looking for a deli product of Russian origin, then this is the right place for you.
For those of us who do not speak Russian, we are at a bit of a disadvantage in this place.
Now that I know it isn't a sandwich shop i might try going there again to get some authentic Russian foods to take home and enjoy.
Great selection of Russian/Ukrainian/Belarusian food as well as some Polish/Lithuanian options. Talked to a nice girl from Belarus who was fluent in English and helped me pick her favorite foods for me to try!
This is a fantastic little ethnic deli and grocery store. They have all kinds of varieties of different deli meats. And very unique and different cuts. I spoke to the owner and he has been at this location for over 20 years. Amazing that I have not been here before. The location is not easy to see. However, it is located in the small strip mall just to the east of the Speedway Gas Station at 86th and Ditch Rd. The deli is accessible from 86th Street or thru a small access road just north of the Speedway Station off of Ditch Road. It is worth the time. Very unique so allow some time to shop. We loved it.
Always a great experience. The owners are very helpful and friendly. They always remember what I like and have great recommendations. 👍

This it was my first visit to this cute place, and I loved it! They have different products from Eastern Europe. I enjoyed the natural kefir yogurt, and I am intolerant to the lactose and this kefir with whole milk works with me. Deli meats are good, and the milk and dark chocolat are very good quality too!
Thank you for your work! It is worth to drive 100 miles one way just to get pelmeni and candies! Great place.
A lovely specialty shop where the lady behind the counter speaks Russian and it's just the sweetest thing ever. My husband and I went here today to buy some sausage and I also saw some pickled mushrooms and other specialty goods that reminded me of my childhood. This was my second time here and I really enjoyed it. The prices are a little bit high but well worth the quality and uniqueness of the food. (Also, be wary because the prices on things are sometimes per pound and not what is on the sticker. Ask questions so there are no surprises when the bill comes up. )
We will definitely be going back in the future. By the way, they have frozen pierogi here that are really really tasty. If you want the authentic thing, you may want to stop by in the freezer section very soon.
Authentic Russian foods and treats! They also cook fresh Russian dishes. Some items can be pricy but good things come at a cost.
Came here ever since i was a kid very authentic European food this place is the best
Very nice store. I'm in Indianapolis working, from west virginia. Or I would've tried some of their deli meats. Bought some delicious chocolates. I read some reviews that people were upset about prices and that they charge per pound for food.. Every deli I've ever been to charges by the pound, I didn't think anything in there was overpriced for what it is. Will be back, when in Indianapolis.
Always a treat to visit and buy our favorite foods from Russia.
