Do you like gearo's well if you do you need to visit this place it was one of the best places that I've been in a long time it reminds me of old fashioned City Market Downtown and they're fresh quiroz I will be back and thank you so much for the good food
Great food long wait but well worth it.. lots of different things on the menu its a one stop shop.. something for everyones taste buds. And desserts are very healthy portions. And you always have left overs for later..
go for the sandwiches/pitas! they are great! the meat is always seasoned well and tender.
Their sides are all food service fried food like fried onion rings, mushrooms or french fries. their menu is giant for the place being so tiny but they do offer a drive-thru.
GREAT FOOD LITTLE GREASY. Food is great, sometimes can be a little greasy , and depending on the cook , when u order phillycheese steaks it is diffrent sometimes , u get less meat and more veggies sometimes green peppers sometimes no green peppers lol but overall i like the food , my favorite ribs from any fast food restaurant is from yummys=)
Large Menu. Good food at good prices. My friends and I will definitely be back.
Yummy's Grille. The food is fantastic and they have very reasonable prices. We usually get the #70 Gyro platter with comes with 2 grilled pitas, meat, onions, tomato slice, sauce, and a side of fries. It is more food than I can eat so I usually have leftovers for lunch the next day. Double yummy! No feta with it but we usually pick up some at the grocery on the way home or before if we know we are going there.
Not much seating in the place but you want to take it to go anyway. The time you spend inside kind of gives you the creeps because it is pretty dirty. Good gyros keep us going back!
Lunch size gyro...lunch size price. Delicious gyro. I had an a la carte gyro for $4.27 (half the price of an average gyro) for 2/3 of the size! In other words: an appropriate size gyro for a comparably small price. The amount of sauce was perfect (extra costs 75 cents fyi) but the toppings were skimpy (I just added tomato and onion when I got home). I did not find the meat to be greasy as some have said. Also, the meat and pita were perfectly crispy. I am very pleased.
I love greek greasy spoons. Yummy's is a typical Greek greasy spoon, I LOVE IT. From Pizza puffs to gyros, to baklava, it is fantastic, not much seating so take it to go... It is great!
Yummy is the perfect name for this fantastic little restaurant. The food is fantastic as well as the service. The prices are low too! All the foods are fantastic! I have many favorites! Try it yourself and you will instantly fall in love with this fabulous restaurant!!! So Yummy!!
Fresh and Fast. Nice little corner spot that we venture too often when at the firestation down the street. Excellent Gyro's and burgers, and the food is always fresh.
Hold up, this place serves gyros, Italian beef, hot dogs, burgers, chicken, fish, and ribs. I had a half slab of ribs. Sweet sauce with a little mesquite kick. Ribs were fully cooked with a light char. No need for a knife unless you need to cut the meat in half. The guy behind me devoured his chicken sandwich. Forget about eating at a fast food restaurant. This place has over 60 choices of meals. Service was fast, prices are reasonable, and it gives you real comfort food. This was a find!
Hands down my all time favorite place to eat. The workers here all know myself and my co-workers and welcome us every time we come in. It may look a little rough on the outside but the food and the people are amazing. If you haven't had a gyro from here then you aren't living. Meal runs around 10 bucks. Worth every penny. What else do you need? Get some of this food in you!
We love Yummy. We've been eating there for years. I usually get the Gyro plate and my husband loves the pork chop dinner. But everything we've has here has been tasty. They cook it right when you order. Look, it's not fine dining but if you want a quick tasty lunch or dinner, it's great. It's also owner operated and a lot of times the people working there are the family. It reminds me of some small sandwich shops back east. They have a huge menu so there's plenty to choose from. 10/10 will be back
Great food good prices will be back love pulled pork sandwich
Great selection, although seems a bit much for such a small kitchen. The souvlaki gyro was amazing. The fries were perfectly cooked. Great customer care. And the two people working seemed to be happy to help.
The only complaint I might be able to come up with is the appearance could use a touch of upkeep. The floors look dirty, but I could tell they were that way because of age. And the paint could be brightened a little. But, that's all I could find to pick on this place about.
If you are looking for a nice place, with great food. Give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.
The place is very run down. Cracks in the seats, chipped paint that sort of thing. But the food is delicious. I've had the gyros that they are some of the best I've had. Prices are fairly reasonable also so solid 4/5
Not the best pork tenderloin in Indy for sure but going to give the wings a shot next trip. Keeping my fingers crossed...
The wings were great! I took a box home and used our own BBQ sauce, baked a few minutes and delicious! Was a little disappointed to be charged .35 for water after getting a large box of wings, but I guess the cups aren't free...
I didn't know what to get. The lady said everything is pretty good. I didn't believe her. But I got the cheeseburger meal, and gyro plate. It was cooked frsh and it was crazy good. Before I left I told the manager I'm going to try everything on the menu, and I'm not a liar.
The owners and employees are always very welcoming. It's a bit nostalgic for me, sort of like a short-order walk-up in Philly, but also reminds me of the kebab stand we used to visit when I was stationed in the U.K.
Hidden Gem of Indy. I have been reluctant to review Yummies because I wanted to keep it my little secret; but the owners/ operators are so good that I would be doing them a disservice by doing so. I travel around Indy with my work and I eat lunch at Yummies about 3 days/week on average. My go to is the pork chop sandwich meal with seasoned salt on the fries. This sandwich reminds of the pork chop sandwiches from the State Fair, they are that good. Enjoy.
