Absolutely, hands down, the best rib joint in INDY! We got off the plane for a business trip and this was the first place we came! We now live in Atl, GA and it beats Fat Matts ribs on piedmont! We had Kings for a treat for our wedding guests for the " after the wedding" party and it was gone in less than 30 minutes! That was 13 years ago and it still brings back great memories of a wonderful wedding and our start in life together. Tha mac and cheese is ON POINT!

Finger lickin goodness! I've tried many a ribs my friend but they are the best! Tender, charred just so, mix the sauce... Wammo! Baked beans & mac n cheese! Really nice people, easy drive thru. I'm dizzy thinkin bout em!

This was a pick-up so had no atmosphere but the young lady at the window was very cordial and kind. Food was wonderful even though I drove back to Greenwood, IN with it. I was a little disappointed in the limited sides available.
LOVE THIS PLACE!! If you want AMAZING BBQ this is the place!! I could smell the smoke from the cooking several blocks away and my mouth started watering. I waited in line (in my car) for about 30 minutes but it was soooooooo worth it. I ordered 2 racks of ribs, potato salad, baked beans, slaw and strawberry soda. The service was friendly and very nice. If you've never been here then get out from under your rock and go!!
Spicy whole chicken was great. They don't work real fast on filling orders I think because of short staffed. But worth the wait.
Visiting from out of town. Trying for the first time. Ordered 3 large tips. They were good. Asked for mild and hot for each tip order and received one large mixed sauce. That was disappointing because the 3 of us have different tastes and weren't planning to dine together 😕 but the lady kept saying mixed sauce after we asked for a mild and a hot sauce. Need to clarify next time someone else asks.

Always good!! An Indianapolis staple that will never fail you. Best sauce, EVER!! Spicy or the mild is delicious and can be on anything. Ribs and chicken are delicious but my favorite is the rib tips. Only issue is once you have them from the King, nothing else tastes right.
This is always my hometown recommendation. Don't let the long line scare you, they move you through pretty fast.
The staff is so thoughtful and accommodating for the holidays. They went out of their way to make sure we had my elder mom’s favorites for her birthday.
