Really great food and friendly staff! Food was amazing! It’s at least a must try but I will definitely be revisiting!
Great food, beef ribs, turkey ribs, smoked wings& don't forget the brisket. Excellent service whenever I visit. Try them out you won't regret it.
I wish I could love this, sauces great, good slaw and Mac & Cheese. But the meat is definitely reheated at this shop and the greens are too bitter. Better choice in the area.
Try the ribs and chicken. The ribs were excellent, fall off the bone and moist with a tasty rub on it. The chicken is smoked, moist and then quickly fried to crisp it up. The moisture stays in this way and was excellent. Rib tips were just ok. Very little meat, bony and kind of dry. The BBQ sauces were very good. We had the sweet (yummy) and they also have mild and hot.
First time experience was amazing! Walked in, grabbed a menu and saw the what I was looking for, turkey! I had turkey tips before, but not turkey ribs. The cashier explained how you get 3 nice ribs for that price. I ordered the small dinner which included 2 small sides. The sides I ordered were mac and cheese and greens, which was not cooked in pork (yes!). The meal came with cornbread. Since I was not from the area, I wanted to try more menu items and also ordered a 10pc smoked wings. Everything was sooooo good! The turkey ribs fell OFF THE BONES!! The sides were delishous although the greens were highly seasoned. The smoked wings were a nice size and REALLY had the smoked flavor! You could smell the smoke as soon as I opened the tray. Can't wait to visit the area again! Thanks Garrett's!
The chopped brisket sandwich was on point and the turkey ribs was good and and well seasoned. I would prefer the sauce on the ribs but on the side worked . I'm back tomorrow for those turkey ribs
My 1st time trying this Place...right down the street from me. I don't like everyone's Rib Tips.... but These were DELICIOUS!! I knew they would be good when they told me they don't put BBQ sauce on the tips and the sauce come on the side.
I think they Give you a nice portion for $14 for a small tip. No fries. Meat only!
They were tender and juicy and flavorful.

It was really good! Only 4 stars is because they should have a better price list I'm not saying i want it to be free but...
My first time eating at Garrett‘s smokehouse was on Friday, October 22 and when I tell you I have never in my 60 years have had barbecue that was so divinely delicious. I will never go back to barbecue heaven or king ribs again after eating your barbecue. We then had to come back on Sunday to try the smoke wings I’m looking forward to Thursday of this week when you open up again.We have a daycare right around the corner in walking distance my staff is also going to order some of this delicious food that I’ve told them about. Customer service is absolutely amazing thank you so much for sharing your gift.you have one top of the line business❤️💯
The turkey ribs are so good, tender, fall off the bones. The pork ribs are just as tender and moist. Chicken wings were flavorful but on tougher side.
We got a large tips with medium sides. The baked beans were great. The tips were too chewy according to my wife but she has weak teeth. The bbq sauce came across with a heavy alcohol flavor it was too loose to stick to the meat
