Fantastic BBQ. Loved the Pick 3 sampler. Ribs were the meatiest I have seen in a restaurant. Brisket and pulled pork were delicious. I loved the baked beans too. I also bought some liverwurst and Euro candies from the European Market.
Ambrosia.
The food here is a trip of inventive and classical takes on traditional barbeque and Americana favorites. Not your typical tender eatery, this local favorite has been a staple to those who know for forty years! They've cracked a winning formula.
I found this place next to the mechanic and wanted to try out their brisket. LOVE IT!!!!
The brisket is smoked for 18 hours.
I ordered a brisket sandwich with bacon mac n cheese and potato salad. I added the sauce to the sandwich.
I greatly appreciate your service. Thank you so much!!!
This place is so quaint with a southern comfort vibe! We loved our food - grilliant fries, grilliant wrap, pork tacos, and baked beans. Sooo good! You can buy fresh meat here too which is pretty cool. A new favorite for us!
Great little BBQ shack. The burnt ends were awesome and the bacon mac and cheese was fantastic. I need to go again and try the Grilliant Fries that are loaded with cheese, pulled pork, and slaw.
Quietly excellent. Each thing I tried confused me as to why it tasted so good in such a subdued place. On closer inspection of the decor I noticed a wall ribbons and plaques of consistent BBQ awards. This owner has spent his time perfecting his bbq craft and shares the results here. The atmosphere is bodega-esqe with good size dine in space and a great homey feel. They are Closing down at end of September for a month or 2 , let's hope this place comes back open soon, it's a hidden gem for sure.
This place rocks. Legit BBQ, good variety, and it’s all great quality. They also have a market for you DIYers. Love this spot.
I found it!
The best fried tenderloin in Indy! Big, juicy and perfect thickness!
Got the choose 3 brisket, pork, ribs. The ribs were super meaty never had anything as good. Brisket had nice flavor although I would have liked a wet barbecue on them. And the pulled pork had a nice flavor but was very fatty. I won't really say that's a bad thing as I know plenty of people who love there pork that way.
Genuinely one of my favorite establishments in Indy. Great food, great people, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Fair pricing, lots of sauce and seasoning options, very knowledgeable - going as far as willing to teach if you're willing to listen and learn. I would and do recommend this place to everyone with every given opportunity. Worth the drive and the experience.
My personal favorites are the brisket burnt ends, pork belly burnt ends, and the Grilliant style Scotch eggs. There's nothing bad on the menu. Some things you're bound to get hooked on without a doubt.
