This is a big restaurant with a big menu. It is very similar to other joints around Indy. Breakfast served all day, big portions, home-made soups and a bunch of pies and cakes. Usually when we hit places like this we invariably opt for breakfast. Today was an exception. We both decided on lunch dishes. Pat ordered an Italian beef sandwich with a side of coleslaw, for $8.50.
Great locally owned diner, friendly people. One of the best Greek-style diners in Indy. Have only been here for breakfast. Huge menu, huge portions. I recommend the Greek omelet but haven't had anything here that I haven't liked.
Lots of menu choices with great service. We met friends here to catch up. Wait staff kept the coffee and tea refilled. Good comfort food place and you'll be taking left overs home for the day.
Dale York. I love this restaurant, good food, big portions, good prices and the servers are great and the owner Nick is right there seeing that everything is OK
Something for Everybody. This family-friendly restaurant has a great menu with unbeatable prices. There are SO MANY choices. Breakfast is served ALL day. The portion sizes are HUGE. I highly recommend the buffalo chicken fingers wrap. It was so gigantic that I had enough leftover for lunch the next day.
Dined there tonight. Food portions huge. Prices very good. I had the pancakes, links, grits, and feta omelet. All was good except I didn't care for the feta they used. The pancakes were very fluffy. Grits nice and creamy. The sausage links are nice and plump. My dining companion had steak and eggs. He gobbled up every drop. The steak was a nice size and looked so juicy! I will be returning to try the creps! Happy dining!
Menu is vast. Lots of crepe options as well.

It is not haute cuisine. It is a good old diner. Whatever you're the mood for, they'll probably serve it! Yes, I've had some meals I wouldn't rave about, but more often than not my husband & I are fully satisfied for around $20.
Great Restaurant. My husband and I have been dining here for years. It is a very casual atmosphere. They have great prices with huge portions. The menu has Italian, Greek and American dishes. They also have a huge board of specials each day. The service is good and you can't beat the welcome you get from owner Nick each time you come.
NOTHING FANCY BUT GOOD FOOD AT A GOOD PRICE. It's not a fancy place. But we keep going back because there is such a variety of foods on the menu that we can always find something to please us. There are two soups each day...that's 14 different soups each week! There are two entrees featured each day...stuffed cabbage rolls, beef tips and noodles, chicken and dumplings, swiss steak, ham and beans...just to name a few. And a long list of salads...too large to eat!...and sandwiches...the grilled tenderloin and chicken sandwiches both have two huge pieces of meat on the bun. The corned beef is wonderful and the turkey is sliced from the breast...not a watery deli selection. You can't go away hungry.
My husband loves the fried perch and I am a fan of the grilled orange roughy.
But one of my favorites during the heat of this long summer has been the stuffed cantaloupe cold plate. You can get either tuna or chicken salad...a huge portion of probably two cups!...inside a cantaloupe. This is not half a melon either...more like 3/4. On the same plate, you will find two halves of a boiled egg, a tomato slice, cucumber, a dill pickle and over on the other side of the melon...a huge portion of cottage cheese with two pineapple rings and a couple of peach slices. By the time I have a couple of glasses of iced tea with lemon and a few Captain's wafers, I am stuffed and always sharing with my husband and still taking part of it home with me! All that for $7.99.
Nick will greet you with a "Hello, my friends!" and you can sit wherever you want. Again...this is not Broad Ripple, but when you go in as often as we do, you will always find the faces of repeat customers who like freshly cooked foods, a wide number of choices, and the knowledge that Paragon is open 365 days a year.
Go on Friday evening and you get your choice of a free dessert...very popular with the customers in the know.
Mom and I were craving some comfort food, and found it at Paragon. Our server was super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Mom's fried perch was very fresh and delightfully crispy. I had fried chicken livers, which were perfectly cooked (not an easy feat). The veggies were fresh and delicious. My only negative is the mac n' cheese. It looked like Kraft blue box, and didn't deliver on taste. The dessert case was spectacular. Will definitely be back for coconut pie. All in all a lovely place.
Great tasting food at a reasonable price! The pancake taste like real pancakes instead of sugared flour, the server was polite and well groomed. it was a little busy when we went on a Saturday morning, but that would be expected at 10 am. We still had our food right out to us within 20 minutes of sitting down and overall it was a great. I don’t live on the west side of Indianapolis, but next time I’m in the area I’ll definitely be eating breakfast there.
I worked at this location when it was a Waffle House back in the early 90's. Of course it has changed alot since then but brought back memories as a bus boy/dishwasher.
Had the Gyro and Fries. My friend had the Pork Ribs and Side Salad. Definitely get your money's worth in food.
Service was an A+.
Land owner could fix the park lot. Hasn't been repaired in 30 years.
Not sure if we were hungry or what, but the food here are surprisingly really good! Even if they’re selling classic foods, it tasted much better and it is really flavorful! They also sell different pies and cake! We had to buy their lemon meringue too :)
Big portions and great flavors! We had a family lunch here and it was a good experience all around. The burger was cooked well and the service was good. After your belly is full you can walk down to the GIANT thrift shop!
Food was very good. Service was excellent. I never ran out of coffee, that's very important to me. Went for breakfast, next time will be lunch. Please always leave your server a tip. Small or large doesn't matter. Friendly service is all that matters, between guests and hostess.
When Passing thru the Indy area... this is my go to breakfast spot. I have driven out of my way to eat here for breakfast. I wish we had something like it in louisville. This is OLD SCHOOL dining. Big Portions, lots of choice... great food... awesome service!
Fast & friendly service! Large portions! Good price! 3 full meals for less than $45 included chicken fried steak with large green salad and mashed potatoes, chicken club with fries and a large bowl of beef cabbage soup, and corned beef hash, 2 eggs o er hard, hashbrowns, cinnamon raisin toast, and delicious bread rolls and 2 Arnold Palmers! Homemade and breakfast served all day! You won't be disappointed! 15 minutes from the airport off of Girls' School Road.
Great food and service. I have been going there for years. Highly recommended. It's always busy but there is always seating and virtually no wait.
I stopped in to get a chocolate eclair. Paragon Restaurant has a great bakery case of pies, cakes, and pastries. I've eaten here many times, and great food and service.
