4/21/18: Friendly service again today. Meatloaf again came with the hash and everything was delicious and perfectly cooked, but I much preferred having the Brussels sprouts as a side to brighten and lighten the dish. Latest update: Now there is a little winking pig that denotes which meals are "vegan or easily modified to be." Awesome! Staying at five stars! Meatloaf again, of course. The assigned side today is potato and rhubarb hash. Service better today than on last visits. Update: Came in today and the menu has changed. The sides available with the no meatloaf are now vegan (Brussel sprouts and carrots). Changed my review from 4 to 5 stars. EXCELLENT vegan meatloaf and gravy. Wow. I ate so quickly out of sheer excitement. My husband had a bite and also thought it was delicious. I was disappointed to learn that the sides that my meal came with all contained dairy. Unfortunately I can't have dairy so couldn't finish them. I should have asked before ordering, but it doesn't make much sense to serve dairy-laden sides with a vegan main dish. I hope Shoefly creates some vegan side options for those of us who can't eat dairy. (The bites I did have were also delicious.) Will definitely be back. Can't emphasize enough how good the meatloaf was.
