Mom and pop deli that has sandwiches, burgers, and also specials throughout the day. Love these two! I recommend the reuben and egg salad sandwich
The current owner is very friendly and an all rounder. The place is just perfect for a nice quiet meal New York style. Not too big, not too small, just right ! The food itself is delicious and has a lot of variety. If I lived nearby, I would go everyday for lunch!!
Soooo good. Really casual, friendly atmosphere. Helpful and patient when I had a hard time deciding what to try (because of nice variety + everything looked good). Went with Chicken Gyro combo meal, which was so fresh +tasty that I was suppose to take it to-go but took 1 bite & ended up sitting down & eating everything. Papa Mo, the owner with the cool Turkish accent and mild manner, actually cooked it himself.
Awesome little Deli around the corner from where I'm staying. Nothing fancy, just a classic New York eatery here in the Heights. The family that owns and runs it are great people. I'm working my way through their menu. Had the Gyro last time, and it was great. This time I'm doing the Cheesesteak. I'm excited. Support your local businesses.
AWESOME. Mom & Pop style small deli with a lot of charm. Must get the Papa Mo's special, the best gyro style roast beef you've ever had with bacon and cheese on garlic bread, it'll blow your mind. Good price and fast service, perfect for lunch to go.
Fantastic place for lunch. On my 2nd visit, 3 weeks after my first, the server recognized me and welcomed me back. It's hard to find better service with a smile anywhere. The Special and the Philly Cheesesteak are both great. I'll definitely be going back.
Papa Mo's is awesome! This is the type of place you want to stop in and grab a special on the way home. Food is great and with Papa Mo behind the counter you're going to get that consistently good food every single time. I love businesses where you can clearly see the owner trying to follow his dream...and its benefiting everyone in the neighborhood!
Real NY deli here in Houston! The Ruben and Cole slaw are excellent, as was the potato salad Mo brought me to try after seeing me devouring the slaw. My only regret was not saving room for a Philly cheese steak or gyro, but there's always next time! 10/10 would recommend. You will not be disappointed!
Tried this place out of a whim. Went in for Gyro, I love those and always looking for a good one. Ended up sampling the daily special. It was the bomb. Chicken was moist tender and very well seasoned. Highly recommend, I will be back.
Great people and great food. Came in there right before closing because I didn't know their hours and they still served me without complaint. Give them a try.
