The dumplings were awesome. They were perfectly cooked. I opted for the chicken ones. The staff was very friendly. The pricing is value for money.
Located in The Shops at Houston Center, Doozo offers authentic hand-made steamed dumplings in pork, chicken and veggie varieties, plus soups, fried rice, spring rolls, and seasonal fresh fruits as sides. Dumplings are made fresh every day. $7.00 for 10 dumplings, or $8.50 for 10 plus a small side (fried rice or soup). Line can be very long during peak lunch hours, but moves quickly.
Big delicious dumplings! My fave are the pork and veggie. Tip: be sure you're ready to order when you get to the front of the line and have your money out with correct amount ready too.
Great dumplings. I love this place...they have been open for years. don't let the long line discourage you, service is fast. dumplings are cheap and delicious, dipping sauces are mouth watering
The line is allways long but it's well worth the wait. Pork is the best!
Love, love, love it!. I have only had the dumplings (veg or pork - depending upon my mood) but they're so good, I never wanted anything else. I crave them. Be prepared to place your order and move quickly. Not much time to ponder your order.

Doozo's Dumpling and Noodle in McKinney St. Houston Texas is a great place to go for a light lunch. The dumplings are delicious, especially the spinach dumplings. The fried rolls and sweet and sour soup are also very good.
I recently had the opportunity to have lunch at Doozo's with my friend. She had recommended the restaurant to me, saying that they had great spinach dumplings. I was not disappointed!
The spinach dumplings were perfectly cooked, with a thin wrapper and a generous filling of spinach and other ingredients. They were served with a dipping sauce that was both flavorful and not too salty.
I also tried the fried rolls and sweet and sour soup. The fried rolls were crispy and golden brown, with a delicious filling of ground pork and vegetables. The sweet and sour soup was tangy and refreshing, with a good balance of sweet and sour flavors.

Best steamed dumplings downtown. I have been going for many years. Consistent, fast, and delicious. The dumplings are presteamed, hearty and filling. Their homemade sauce is perfect to dip the dumplings in. There's usually a long line that moves very quickly. They have a very effiecient ordering process that more resurants should study and take notes. I'm glad they are going strong during these times.
Why are there not more people going crazy for these dumplings!!! They are delicious!!! If you are not a vegan, the veggie dumplings will make you wanna switch over. My favorite are the pork ones. So good. I worked in those towers 20 years ago and I dream about the next time I am around downtown during the times they open.
I received my dumplins fresh from the steamer.
I went back to try the soybean noodles and they were an extreme disappointment. Ill stick to the dumplins moving fwd.
I haven't eaten here since 1999 and I STILL get cravings for their spinach dumplings. I was having it everyday for lunch. So much, that parts turned green and my vitamin levels must have been through the roof. Not only are the dumplings delicious, but the sauce that comes with it is amazing. I would drink that afterwards. It's that good!
I've been getting their dumplings (large 10-pc. pork and large 10-pc. veggie) for years now. Ask for extra spicy sauce if you like it spicy. I've also introduced it to my friends by driving all the way to downtown during a work lunch. Every one of them liked it too. I'll definitely go as much as I can. Sometimes I order extra to take home for dinner.
Pork dumplings were very good. Get the large, as the sides aren't really worth it. I wish the combo came with a drink instead of the soup. They have free water available. Get there early, because the line gets a little crazy.

The dumplings were very good, we got pork and chicken. The pork were my favorite, but the chicken was just as good.
