This place is a gem. Great coffee, great brunch / lunch, and fantastic desserts. I have uploaded some of the photos I have taken over the last couple of weeks. By the way…sadly I did not take a photo, but they have a “thin slice potato truffle pizza” that was nothing short of a religious experience.
Had a little trouble noticing where the menu for food was but once we ordered we didn’t wait more than fifteen minutes for our sandwiches and they were very good and worth the price. The cafe is busy and lively and the employees get food out very fast. We were happy to have lunch here and conveniently continue into the museum to see the rest of the work. Next time we will try the desserts in the showcase.
We had a lunch here today and came back again in the afternoon for a wine drink, because we enjoyed our lunch. The cafe provided a delicious carrot soup with 2 pieces of warm bread for the lunch. A bowl of soup had a big quantity and tasted very good. My husband liked his sandwich too.
The afternoon antipasti was a big platter, too.
I've come here twice for lunch already and have never been disappointed. The food is good and the price is not too expensive. If you're there for a movie you get an extra 10% off, which I didn't know before.
Well worth the stop in. Sandwiches on the fresh focaccia are phenomenal. Cant go wrong on the desserts either!
I eat here pretty regularly as it is close by. The steak is great and they typically have many daily specials to keep things interesting. I also really enjoy the coffee program here. The place is always clean and they actually have a good happy hour. They are typically closed on Monday's, but so is the museum. Good Brunch on Sunday's here also if you are into that sort of thing.
Really yummy vegan quinoa wrap! Already ate half in this picture.

Y'all. The food here is exceptional. Not just for a museum but for a Houstonian restaurant. Really it is very good quality food. They have great coffee. If you are Italian, you can safely order an espresso here (ask for 1 shot though). I come here to eat and have a glass of wine even when I'm not visiting the museum exhibitions. Exceptional restaurant. I would take visitors to Houston here.
Thoroughly impressed with everything I ordered! Hopefully I can find another place with this sort of quality drinks. The iced coffee and the iced green tea drinks were fantastic. Amazing quality and the sweetness was just right.
The pizzas, although a little pricey, was enjoyable. If you're willing to pay the money, I would recommend getting it as a pre-meal snack.
The almond pistachio cookie was AMAZING. If you're not going to get the drinks or pizza. I think it was $1.00. It was so good.
The food here is always so good. It's nice and clean and very spacious with the tall ceilings. I love that it's in the museum - makes for a great day trip to eat while you're seeing all the amazing art!
