The environment is cozy, informal with a touch of class.
Dockside with a great view, indoor and outdoor seating.
I had a she crab soup and the salmon. Both very good.
They also have a good selection of locally brewed beers.
I enjoyed much my lunch !!

Skull Creek Dockside is great!! I definitely would recommend coming here if you love all sorts of seafood dishes, as well as barbecue, apparently! We didn’t get any BBQ on our recent visit but according to reviews (and our waiter), they smoke everything in-house and it is VERY good. So next time!!
We got some seafood and classic southern dishes for lunch, including: fried pickles & okra, pan roasted mussels, Caesar salad with fried shrimp, and the poached pear salad! It doesn’t seem like too much for two people but this was a lot of food - keep that in mind when coming here! So many menu items are gluten-free as well, so this is a great choice for people with that allergy!!
The fried pickles & okra were exactly what you’d expect - perfectly fried and tasted great with ranch. The mussels were REALLY good - some of the better mussels we’ve ever had. And both salads were excellent as well! I’d probably recommend getting grilled shrimp though, instead of fried shrimp, if you’re wanting a protein for your salad. The pears were so, so good on the poached pear salad. Everything was great and it was so nice to sit outside along the docks and water! This is a very pretty place and definitely one we will go back to next time we’re in Hilton Head Island!
I have been to Hilton Head many times and tried many different restaurants but had never been here. Just found it in a guide book for restaurants on the island. Menu sounded great. I had the special pulled pork nachos and they were really good. My waitress was great very nice answered all my questions and was very helpful. Loved the outdoor dining atmosphere very nice and relaxing. Views were beautiful. I definitely would love to come back and try again for dinner sometime and try something different. The entire menu sounded good
I have been coming here every time we visit my brother for about 10 years. The food is pretty good and we enjoy sitting by the water to have drinks. If you are not local the bartending staff will wait on you last. I feel they know with the locals that that is where there money is. Keep them happy. Those people not known to them are passing though and not part of consistent financial gain. They do have live music which is pretty good.
This was our last night and we wanted some great food and view! They provided all and then some. We ordered a little of everything from drinks to appetizers entrée and dessert. I meant to take pictures of our food but it came out and smelled so good we started eating. I would definitely recommend if you are in HHI to definitely eat here!!! I will be back.
The bar in the back seating area is first come first serve. After being seated in the patio area of the restaurant we moved to an open bar height table w/a better view of the area. We saw dolphins, beautiful birds, and crab. The entire area of the island had a good vibe to it. I ordered the food network Rainbow bowl. It was OK. I needed to add flavor to it. I was not disappointed because I went for the view.
The food was ok and could be better for the reviews. The service was good but they don’t come to your table as often as others. And the atmosphere was stunning with a amazing view of the bay and some boats.

The view outside was amazing. I believe that’s what made our dinner more enjoyable and relaxing.
The food was good though. Don’t get me wrong. For appetizers, we had the Tuna Deviled Eggs and Beef Nachos. For our main course, Shrimp Calamari Pizza with Cole Slaw and 1/2 Fried Chicken with Mac&Cheese and Asparagus. The chicken was seasoned very well and the Mac and Cheese had good flavor. For dessert. We had the warm Pecan Pie with Ice Cream. It had a great taste.
Huge restaurant on the water, big menu selection, we had the seared salmon and fish and chips, they were great. Kirk was our server. He did a great job explaining the menu. Expect to wait before getting seated.
Great place to enjoy a meal. Food was outstanding. The baked grouper was delicious. My husband had the seafood pasta and said it was excellent as well. Definitely recommend!
