Sat at the sushi bar to watch the sushi being made and speak with the sushi chefs was such a treat. Sushi was so fresh. Would return again. Highly recommend. It is a more traditional Japanese atmosphere and they have several seating options if you make reservations.
Wasn't the easiest to find a parking spot in the lot but the sushi was worth the hassle. My wife and I arrived later in the evening, the place was fairly full so we were sat at the sushi bar. The available sushi is not the most extensive I've seen but definitely took us a few minutes to figure out what we wanted. The sushi was some of the best I've had in a long while and the house ginger salad was the best ginger dressing ever. Definitely will be our go to spot when we're on the island.
Superb food. Perfect service. Atmosphere is so comfortable. And this is a big one, bathrooms are so clean they look and smell so fresh. Without a doubt, one of the BEST restaurants I have been too!
Showed up a little before they opened up for dinner at 5:30pm. The entry boardwalk thing really helps set the mood for when you walk into the restaurant. Sat at the bar and was waited on by a man who made my dining experience fantastic - George (the bartender). Got to chit chat the afternoon away and enjoy some pretty darn good reasonably priced sushi! Tip: order yourself som hot Sake as it pairs really nicely with sushi.
Oh and Monday’s you can get away without making a reservation but highly recommended to make one for other days.
Have been here twice on different vacations and has not disappointed. The fish is some of the best tasting we've had anywhere in the States. Thank you for wonderful meals.
Took my son here for his Birthday! The food was amazing and the service was over the top! The best sushi for sure on the Island and bluffton.
Sushi is fresh and tasty. Tuna carpaccio was very tasty. Good choice of hot or cold sake.
Worthwhile to track this place down.
The yellowtail was extremely good today as well as everything else that entered my pie hole.
You know the best Sushi 🍣places are the one where the location is very near the Atlantic or Pacific Oceans and that have two or three Japanese 日本人 that now desires to call the US home for them. That’s this place.
Food quality is pretty good and the restaurant atmosphere is also impressive!
We came pretty late at night around 830PM and there was still a waiting time about 15 mins. After we were seated and ordered, we waited about 30~40 mins for the food. I guess this happened quite rarely and the food is worth the waiting if you have plenty amount of time on the island.
My family came in hungry, ate some really great fish and left very satisfied. Come for their fish, very fresh and high quality. Had their sushi and sashimi and my older two boys had ikura nigiri and 3 rolls. We were also very impressed with how the sushi rice was prepared.
Ramen was good but stay away from their regular udon. Nabeyaki udon was much better than the regular one.
Just went back for lunch and their bento boxes are fantastic. Dinosaur egg was delicious.
