Amazing hole in the wall BBQ. Each sauce is uniquely flavored and perfectly balances the delicious pulled pork. The zesty beans, creamy cole slaw, and cornbread are all great sides to an amazing sandwich of a meal. Generous helpings of it all at an affordable price too. Will absolutely come again and recommend for those in the area!
This is a great reason to visit Hilton Head Island. THE BEST Jalapeño Corn Bread and BBQ on the island. Just a little dive but worth jumping in.
Best barbecue I have had in a while! The fries are perfectly salted and gluten free!!The Caroline slaw is simple and tasty. We came here for its gluten/dairy free options dinner and it was a hit. Might even come back again this week :)
My experience at Bullies was nothing short of phenomenal. In fact, I visited two consecutive days because the ribs I had on the first day were so juicy that I was compelled to return for more. The pulled pork was also outstanding. While the brisket left something to be desired, it didn’t detract from the overall excellence of the experience. The atmosphere is precisely what I’d expect from a place that once neighbored a gas station, yet consistently slings high-quality meats. The service was exceptional, and I can’t praise their Southern comfort food enough.
A family outing to BBQ can’t be beat by any other business on Hilton Head. Bullies BBQ was above and beyond our expectations! We have 4 adults & one child and got the family meal for 4-6. The meat portions were very generous, and everyone left feeling full & we had leftovers for the next day. Amazing flavor, friendly staff, great experience.

This place has the most tastiest and best coleslaw I’ve ever had especially in the Hilton head area as well. The ribs are extremely good you normally have to dip them in your own sauce but honestly they’re really good either way. I’ll definitely return when I get a chance
This came highly recommended from the locals as a great place for South Carolina style bbq...and it did not disappoint!
This is a no frills, all about the barbecue kind of place. I ordered the half rack of ribs which came with fries, slaw and cornbread and my partner ordered the pulled pork sandwich with collards and carolina slaw.
The food itself was very good. The ribs were a tad bit salty and needed a bit more smoke for me, however my partner said they were perfectly done for him. We both thought the pulled pork was done quite well. As for the sides, the collards and the corn bread stood out for both of us.
Of the sauces we tried, my favourite in order was mustard vinegar based, spicy tomato based, carlina style vinegar and the mild. All of them were good however.
I recommend trying this place if you're in the area.
We were last here 4 years ago; came back to the same good counter service and great portions of food. My wife enjoyed the jalapeño cornbread with pintos and collards. My pulled pork platter was fantastic; they have a wide selection of sauces - tried three, all were good.
Wow... what a great place to get some really good BBQ. We picked up a sampler, with pulled pork, pulled chicken, spareribs and brisket.
Everything was just great. Pork, chicken and brisket were really tasty and juicy. The ribs fell of the bones and tasted great as well.
I also made sure, that we sampled all their BBQ sauces. We liked all of them. My wife's favorite was the sweet Hawaiian with pineapple, my favorites were the original one and the mustard one.

Wonderful food and such a seamless delivery experience (through DoorDash). The dinner meals are more than enough food for two adults or dinner and leftovers for the next day. We ordered the brisket, pulled pork and two half chickens. We tried some of all of the sides and the bbq sauce. French fries were cooked and served perfectly. Each meal came with cornbread.
Highly recommend.
And can’t wait for my leftovers.
