This is the first and only place I have enjoyed Traditional Korean Bowls. The food is fresh and healthy and affordable. The dining room is a comfortable place for date night or lazy night (you don’t want to cook)! I recommend this place - give the purple rice a try. Tell them Chef Uber sent you. Follow me for plenty of restaurants I tevirw.
I am a big fan of hot stone bowl bibimbap, so I was excited to see that BiBim Kitchen was getting such great reviews. Flew in at 5:00 into McClarren and headed down here for dinner. The restaurant is still taking several COVID precautions that I think impact the feel to the restaurant.
The food was great and had great flavors to enjoy. I got the original spicy sauce and it was the traditional Gochujang chili sauce. The bulgogi beef was tender and well seasoned. The vegetables were good but there were a couple of items that I am used to having in my Bibimbap that were not available such as the fish cake and the bean curd noodles. You can get your Sunnyside up egg which is a real must with this dish.
This was a pretty nice little spot. I love Korean food and they offer a pretty nice selection of personal sides for your own bibimbap. I had the hot stone experience (fine in only) which really kept the food nice and hot while I devoured the food. It was fairly priced and was a nice experience to have a nice Korean food delicacy
Good prices and super fast service. Ease and straight forward menu. I loved the stone bowl experience (only dine-in).
This place has a lot of great things going for it.
- easy parking
- quick service
- delicious and healthy food
- clean fun atmosphere
- free infused water and corn tea
- make your own bowl (which seems like the trend nowadays)
If you've never tried hot stone bibimbap, think fried rice in a sizzling hot bowl. You get these great crunchy bits if you let it sit for a bit after mixing.
The dumplings are good as well. Order six to share with a friend!
