Best sushi around but staff should be fired for bad customer service as they walk around like zombies that could care less and are totally insensitive to bad and slow service and basicqlly are ensuring this place will die a slow death as customers will not put up with the lazy attitude and lack of concern about how slow the restaurant operates -owner should fire all staff and find people who care to work waiting tables
I recommend the red dragon roll. Best sushi my husband and I have ever had. I'll be dreaming about this place when we go back home to Florida.
Drinks are great, service was amazing, and food was exceptional. The waygu beef was one of the best things I've ever had and an amazing experience. It is a bit pricey but I'd still say it's good VALUE. You'd pay twice this in LA or NY and not even be as fresh.
Also love the atmosphere and the setting.
Every local told me this is the spot. Went from Turtle Bay. Worth the trip. Andi greeted us and was very friendly. The food is excellent. I can see why it’s known as best sushi spot in area.
Sitting on the floor, in a romantically lit space, with so many yummy things to taste! Really great sushi, fresh, creative and tasty!
One of the best Sushi Bars I'd ever been to.
Food was spectacular, atmosphere was awesome, three different areas of seating, something for everyone. Great music, great drinks, FRESH MAJOR TASTEFUL FOOD. Prices were wonderful as well.
Must visit when you’re on the north shore. Love their hand roll and nigiri! They also have very unique crème brûlée for dessert. We got the Ube flavour and it was delicious. Highly recommend!
Really cool sushi place with an upscale but casual atmosphere. I got the white dragon roll and she got the California tempura roll. Both were excellent! The cocktails were also really delicious. All around a great place.
Banzai Sushi is a very popular sushi place in Haleiwa. We thought it was very good. It’s not too terribly big and we were told we would have a half hour wait. However, we only waited for ten minutes or so. They have indoor and outdoor seating. There are tables and the traditional pillows on the floor and tables. Our waitress was all right. She seemed to disappear for periods of times and socialized quite a bit with another table. The food was good. We really liked the crunchy roll and poke bomb. However, none of the rolls really blew us away. Prices were reasonable. Some rolls were awfully expensive (around $30) and others were cheaper ($13 or so). If you’re after sushi this place will satisfy your craving.
We also had a special of tuna sashimi in the potato crust, which was absolutely delicious. We forgot to take a photo. All of the fish is super fresh and delicious and the service is excellent too. Lily was great. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
The sushi, especially the specialty rolls were delicious. The fish is fresh and the combinations with the souce pairing were amazing. We also liked the vibe and the music. The place is a bit pricey (even compared to NYC) but if you can afford it I think it's definitely worth a visit.
Amazing sushi and an enjoyable outdoor atmosphere. This is my favourite sushi bar on Oahu. The food is delightful and not bad on your wallet. Can't get enough of the lemon drop roll that has fresh lemon slices across the top. I recommend everyone try that if they are a fan of a taste of lemon.
