Really positive experience, great friendly staff and the brisket sandwich was very good! I'll have to come back for a more pure BBQ sample and experience, but I loved being able to feel like I was in a real BBQ joint instead of a restaurant that happens to serve BBQ.
We had my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary here and it was GREAT!!! The food was terrific and everyone had a good time. We recommend renting it for your next party or gathering. Thank you Horseshoe Smokehouse!!! You're the best!
One of the many barbeque places popping up in GR, this one takes my third place spot for best behind Daddy Pete's BBQ food truck and Two Scotts on Leonard. This place knows sauce and their ribs were almost as tender as Two Scotts and delicious in flavor and their side selections were very appealing. They also have 16 taps of craft beer!
The ribs here are about 10x better than slows, juicy and tender, falling off the bone. The beer selection is decent and their cocktails are better priced than slows.
The brisket sandwich was perfectly cooked. The pickled onions were a nice addition, and the Texas sauce was delicious.
Pork butt with Carolina sauce is amazing! Also enjoyed some of my husband Jalapeño Grits. Great discovery on our drive today.
Their brisket is amazing, great beers on tap, and the CRISPY BRUSSELS SPROUTS should be illegal! I have been going back and forth between the Horseshoe, Two Scotts, and Slowes, but I think the Horseshoe wins.
These ribs are sooooo awkwardly AMAZING (& delightfuly different -doesn't even need Any sauce!) that I Had to come here and write this review & give 5 stars as I'm eating. BEST IN MY LIFE.
The brisket is amazing with the salt and pepper waffle fries, delicious! The sauces are all very good as well.
Fantastic selection of smoked meats. Get ready to eat family style at the picnic tables and enjoy a pint of your favorite beer!
