New Owners or Management and a little remodeling has transformed this place into a new Favorite!!
The food is always so fresh and delicious. I tried the barbacoa with eggs this time. Love all of the staff, they are so sweet!!
Do your self a favor and skip out on IHOP and come here for some delicious breakfast, I had huevos rancheros and my S.O had the Barbacoa breakfast and it was so good!! Highly recommend
This restaurant is under new management. Went to try it out with my family, and it was pretty good! I had the Pechuga Ranchera. We'll definitely go back to try other plates. Blanca is amazing, by the way...
Breakfast was delicious beans and the pot and eggs had a very very good taste and the homemade corn tortillas are delicious 😋 👌 😊 and the Bacon the tea was also 👍 great
Food was delicious and tasted like home from the RGV. Loved their ranchera breakfast plate and their ranchera sauce was excellent! Tortillas were homemade and tasted perfect! Juice was fresh and beans were fresh too. Potatoes were soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Prices were reasonable and very clean and neat location. Also the service was great!
We moved back to Galveston almost a month ago, and we are so glad to have found Nopalero! The breakfast burritos are delicious, love the bacon they use and the chorizo hasn't bee na greasy red addition- all of our food has always tasted so fresh. Their tortillas and red salsa are so good that I have bought some to go a couple of times. Their taco salad is also delicious. The family works the restaurant, and 10/10 you should give them a try, they've been so kind, their food has been so good and they really want to make this place a success.

This place is great. I haven't been here since before Covid and it was good then but it's even better now. The owner is nice and very friendly. The service was so amazing. Please try it out. Homemade and fresh flour tortillas. The Mexican rice is how you can tell if a Mexican restaurant is good and it was soooo good.
Great food, clean, quick service, reasonable prices
This place is not good, it is great, I loved the food quality and overall the service and attention to customers. They offered new management this date and they started of the best way possible. I do recommend for my Chicano community and those who like northofthewall type of Mexican food. No tex mex here, all authentic! Barbacoa is great and super nopalera burrito too.
