Stopped by while the Astros game was on. Asked if they were still doing the $1 drafts while a local team's game was on TV, sadly the bartender said no. Settled for a pitcher, we still had a good visit.
We were spending three days in Galveston, visiting several restaurants and bards, and our experience here (at this bar) was the best. I tried to catch the names of the bar tenders on staff, but I forgot. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We went to several restaurants and bars in the area and this was the spot we felt the most welcomed. On top of the amazing service, the drinks were fantastic - strong and delicious.
Cool place. Definitely need to improve their speed. Hire more people, add an extra person to weekend shifts, either way. Could be way better. Not to mention. Pool closed? Lame. Bar tenders don’t wear a mask so don’t get me started on covid...
I've been going to this bar since I can remember. The prices and atmosphere fantastic. It's almost never too crowded. Definitely go when the Astros are Texans are playing and get dollar beers.
You can order food as well from yaga's which is very tasty and well priced.
Definitely ask the bartender about the margaritas.
This was a great find while visiting the Strand. Good selection of tequilas and super friendly bartenders. My wife and I visited here and came back the very next day because we enjoyed it so much.
Owners were quick to apologize for our bad experience with the bartender named Kat. Tabor is an excellent bartender and we will definitely give it another swing if we see him behind the bar.
Awesome place. They had live music last night. Musicians were all amazing. Will return for sure. Check it out when your in Galveston.
Best bar in Galveston. Great shots. Bartenders are Great. Cheap beer during Rocket and Astro games. Pick me up shot is a must try.
