We love coming here for the Carmel apples and the chocolate covered desserts. They are all so good and we try different things every time we come. We love the ice cream as well.
Delicious, but pricey. Beautiful historic building interior with minimal seating inside and some outside..
We stopped by for some ice cream and we were not disappointed. They serve Blue Bell ice cream here and have 10-12 different flavors. We tried the Krazy Kookie Dough and the Salted Caramel Brownie flavors in plain and chocolate dipped waffle cones. The ice cream is delicious, as Blue Bell ice cream always is. The dipped cone was dipped in a thick, delicious layer of Rocky Mountain Chocolate and paired nicely with the ice cream. We have a store local to us that sells RMCF chocolates so we did not try any the day we visited, but I’m sure they’re as delicious here (probably more!) as they are in my hometown. The shop itself is cute and clean. Definitely recommend stopping by!
My first visit here and loved it! I chose the vanilla and pralines and was really good. I uploaded a picture and in the back ground you can see their mascot taking a break... slacking off! Next time I'll try a candy coated apple
It has larger choices for chocolates than ice cream. But in yesterday's heat, we chose to go for ice cream. The staff was courteous and friendly. I had buttered pecan in a cone and it was fabulous. The teddy bear outside was too cute. I couldn't resist taking a photo with it.
I absolutely love this place! Everytime we are in Galveston I always make a stop there which is two or three times a month. I love to go in there and get a caramel apple each one for myself and for my husband cuz we both like different things. The toffee the truffles the dog treats all of the candy is always fresh when we've ever been there. .....I love how the place is got that old antique nostalgic feeling to it when you go inside. And I absolutely love the bear sitting outside. I have pictures of my kids when they were little and a couple of their kids now with it believe it or not. If you have not been you really need to stop in when you are in Galveston. I have my husband drop me off he makes the block a couple of times and then he picked me back up. LOL
Great ice cream on a hot day and quite the variety of chocolate sweet treats.
I grew up in Durango, Colorado. Where the first Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory store was first opened in 1981. I been eating RMCF every since. When I am near the store in Galveston. I stop in for a taste of home.
Was just walking around the historic district and ran into this place. Being a chocolate lover I had to try it out. The ice cream I tried was milk chocolate flavored. There was 2 scoops in the cone and that was more than plenty. They also have variety of chocolate flavored sweets. The satff is very friendly too. I recommend this spot.
Cinnamon pie apple/Rock Road apple is why I love this place. You absolutely must have one the next time you visit Galveston. 😎
