This is a very interesting place. There are 5 venues in the structure.. You can go to different bars or places to eat. We chose the place where you order at the counter and they bring the food to you. We were just looking for snacks and we got onion rings and waffle fries. The onion rings were so good we had to come back the next day and have some more. Best ever!
We also got a piece of key lime pie to take back to our hotel room for later.
An added bonus was that we sat where we could look at the lights of Pleasure Pier in the distance.
Saw this place online, and it looked like a fun spot to try! We were greeted immediately upon walking in, and they told us how to order since this was our first time. We ordered right away, no long lines, which was surprising for a Friday night. The food was delicious! The decor and atmosphere was fun and inviting. The staff were helpful and attentive. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of how long it took to get our food. Then, after we ate, the kids wanted shakes, and that took even longer than the food did. An employee noticed and got the back to hurry, so that was very appreciated!! All in all, it was a good experience.
This was our 3rd time here. Everyone raves about it. We get the vibe & view. Food is good but would not say amazing. Vibe is definitely different at night in the bar area. We sat in the 2nd story bar. Our server/bartender was on it even though it was busy. Food & drinks were good. Our area was loud with music, but fun. We walked to the top story, which was neat. Overall, I would say this place is more about the vibe than food.
The food here is always great and so is the service. The Spot is an island must if you visiting Galveston. The Spot is also surrounded by it's sister businesses the Rum Shack, Squeeze and the side yard. They have food and drinks for anyones preferences. Great for group you can even reserve space if needed for an event.
Really cool place not like most restaurants. It's set up where you go to a central counter to order and they give you a buzzer that tells the server where your at. There's places inside and outside and different "rooms" that allow you to kind of choose the noise level your sitting in which I liked. The drinks and food were much better than I expected and the service was pretty quick considering how busy they were (seems like they were always busy every time we passed). There is a 21+ area that we didn't try bc we had our son with us. I would recommend as the food was good the prices were reasonable and the service was great!
This place was really fun! With beautiful views right on the sea wall and a great happy hour, this is a great spot. I was welcomed right when I walked in, and Teighlor provided wonderful service at the bar top in Rum Shack.
They have various happy hour drinks and bites, as well as a full menu. The sliders were great, the spinach artichoke dip was good as well but very creamy.

This place was great. Came here for a work dinner and again on my own. The food has great flavor and the setting is festive. Definitely a place to check out!
Was a little confused it looks like a sit down place on the outside and there is a host stand but it’s order at a counter.
I got a Burger and waffle fries and a Strawberry shake were a great lunch. The burger meat was seasoned and fresh. The waffle fries were my favorite. Tried a little of the fish tacos they had a very fresh salsa on them that was good. $44 for 2 people.

The food was delicious! We didn't have dessert but their desserts looked absolutely heavenly!
The drinks were only so-so... I got a Dirty Monkey & I can't put my finger on it but it just wasn't very good! They have a beer that they claim is a 29° Beer... It was NOT - it was first served in a warm glass... We asked for another and it was only slightly cooler!
The atmosphere was really nice and it's just across from the beach. They may have just had a bad night so I'm only knocking it 1 star for the lukewarm beer.

Great views while you drink their tasty margaritas.. our waitress was super nice and checked on us frequently. The happy hour specials are awesome. Very cool place and we didn't eat but the food looked and smelled wonderful.
