Nice Mexican restaurant with some fun outdoor seating. I always opt for the excellent Burrito plate (minus beans) which is quite filling.
Another MUST visit when I'm back in town!! Cheese Dip & Topopo Salad are like no other Mexican dish and you just gotta try it! SO good!! And the chips! 😳😋❤️

Been coming here for about 10 years. I love the vibe and atmosphere, especially on the rooftop. The staff is always stellar. Personally I do not think the food is as good as it used to be, and not the cheapest option for Mexican style food. That said, it's certainly not bad and hasn't stopped me from coming back. I was just there two days ago and had a great time.
Fun spot with a great rooftop patio and good food! The margaritas were delicious (and even better by the pitcher!) we’d definitely stop here again.
A cleaner brighter version of the college Mexican restaurant of the 70's. Same homemade tortilla chips and my personal favorite table salsa.
Service with a wry smile and a great price.

Their food is SO good. Ate on the rooftop on the perfect summer afternoon. Best space in East Lansing. We had topopo salad 1/2 order, and chicken burrito. Both were excellent. The chips and salsa though... unbeatable!! As good as I remember and then some. And the service was great! Strong legacy they continue to maintain. Well done EL Az.
Great spot right next to our hotel. We were not sure as the front door is small but it opens up big inside and has an upstairs.
They have some great favorites of the house. The chips are amazing and the margarita are very good.
Come early and stay late!

If you like Mexican, don't think. Don't hesitate. Just go. This is the best I've had. Margaritas are top notch, food was simply incredible. Atmosphere is awesome as well.
Great visit! Ive been here several times, wait staff remembered our order withour paper and brought food out quickly despite a really busy place! Dinner hour on a saturday was busy as expected but Still had a great time with a lovely window seat.
